[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wish it was a little brighter. Ambient light washes the image out. An ALR screen can help with this. It's 2200 ANSI lumens. You get what you pay for. Darkroom viewing is great! Other than that, I love this thing. 120” sharp image and the sound coming out is going to be more than enough for most setups. You don't really need external speakers.

Awesome quality picture compared to any other ive seen picture is just on my wall while I await my screen.

The PL1 has a great picture. It is very bright and clear. high contrast. It DOES SUPPORT NETFLIX, as previous models of Hisense projectors have not. The Wi-Fi on this works extremely well and seems to load the videos very fast. I have been using it to watch movies on Netflix, the Dolby setting for picture works very well and it has amazing images. If you are looking for a decently priced projector for a home theater set up, this is the one!
