Maybe it was because I've never had plant-based sausage before, but it is definitely an acquired taste. It tasted like a bunch of spices thrown together, to try and mask the taste...yuck. It is not on my shopping list, unfortunately.

The replacement of plant based sausage did not change the way I felt after eating breakfast. I was nervous at first to try but am glad I crossed over that hurdle. The product was very easy to find and now i notice it more in other shopping trips where I may have completely glossed over this product prior to the Chatterbox. Did not feel like the flavor tasted like a normal sausage patty, but was tasty in its own right. The texture is the biggest miss for me and it felt like poorly pressed together ingredients and then "overcooked" to keep shape.

The texture was similar to that of a meat based sausage patty and the flavor was good. The packages in the coolers were clearly marked and easy to find. The only downfall that I could find with this product was that the price is a bit more expensive than actual meat sausage rolls. I would recommend this product if you are looking for a meat alternative.

They were easy to heat up in the microwave and looked yummy. I had them alongside some scrambled eggs and took a big bite out of the patty I had heated. Unfortunately, I didn't like the taste and could not finish it. I was really hoping to like them!

I cooked them in the toaster oven and air fryer and neither method was a disappointment. The plant-based sausage had just enough spice to give them a little kick but not too spicy to overheat my mouth. The sausage was a great addition to my avocado and toast breakfast. The added protein from the sausage allowed me to skip my mid-morning snack. The plant-based sausage is a healthier option to traditional sausage. It has changed the way I do breakfast!
