Once I put aside my judgements and tried it, it actually wasn't too different from what I'm used to. The maple flavor was also outstanding! It was easy to locate in my store, and I'm glad I gave it a try.

I like that they have 9 grams of protein and are much less greasy than regular sausage. They are only 80 calories, but that is because they are so small. Even an english muffin is way too big for a sandwich with these.

More than anything I love having a vegetarian friendly product that also tastes great! I tried the sausage with a breakfast meal that also included waffles and fruit as well as in an egg scramble meal. The product is available in nearly all grocery stores so I was easy to find.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] these were great, a fantastic meat substitute with a full flavor. i found them easy to prepare, especially early in the morning it was both quick and simple. the texture was flaky and juicy, with a crispy exterior. this easy addition to my breakfast really upped the flavor and variety on the plate, i enjoyed the maple flavored ones as well. recommend as a meat substitute, whether you are enjoying a meat-free diet or not, the flavor profile and texture both make it enjoyable. found them in the frozen aisle near other morningstar products like the bacon alternative.

My mother in law is vegan and she swears this stuff is just like eating meat, but better. My husband and I always make fun of her taste buds. The first thing I did after cooking MorningStar Farms original sausage was text her. She was right! I tried the sausage alone and it had a very similar texture to sausage, but with more bite to it. The flavor is spot on! The sage really comes through. It is savory with a hint of heat. I decided to use the rest of my patty to make sausage gravy. The only difference in the cooking is that no fat comes off of the patty, so I had to ad a little more butter. The gravy taste incredible! I highly recommend this product to any sausage lover!

As more and more people embrace plant-based eating, we are seeing a vast array of products from numerous companies. However, for me, Morningstar Farms will always be a favorite. The veggie sausage patties are the perfect size for breakfast or a snack and the flavor is amazing. My husband (a meat-eater) said he will definitely choose these breakfast patties over meat sausage any day. A new favorite!

I am not one for plant-based food usually but these were an easy breakfast option that I enjoyed more then the normal sausage we use. It didn't weigh me down like the one we use it really actually pepped me up for the day. We got the maple ones it had a nice flavor not over powering. Not exactly the same texture as our usual sausage but wasn't bad. Will definitely be purchasing again.

I tried maple syrup flavor and it has a rich complex syrup sausage flavor that was very nice. I like that it's healthier for me and easier on the planet than meat. I really love sausage, and this has all the best parts of sausage but is less greasy.
