[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the taste and texture of the Morning Star Farms Veggie Sausage Patties. They taste better to me than the meat version, and the best part is they are not greasy, or make you feel heavy after eating them. This is a permanent addition to my grocery list!

These "smeat" (fake meat) sausage patties are definitely NOT meat. The texture is strange & mushy. Sometimes you crunch bits of something (nuts, oatmeal??) that is less than appealing. That being said, the flavor is spot-on for breakfast sausage. If you eat it with a fried egg on a toasted english muffin, it's very enjoyable! Definitely not going to give up my normal turkey sausage & turkey bacon, but this was fun to taste-test.

The sausages tasted great and were a big hit in my house. Even my picky eater asked for more. I am buying these regularly now!

They are super easy and quick to prepare and are packed with so much flavor. The consistency was spot on. Can't wait to try the maple flavor.

The texture, the flavor, and the fulfilling experience made me a true believer in MorningStar sausage! I can hardly wait to try the Maple flavored and Sprice sausage patties too! The way the plant-based sausage makes you feel after you eat it is a much more pleasant experience than that of regular meat sausage. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a much healthier alternative for breakfast mear without losing the taste of real breakfast sausage!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My favorite breakfast (and one that I usually indulge in on weekends) is the breakfast sandwich: English muffin, melted cheese, sausage, and a runny egg. MorningStar Farms Veggie Sausage Patties are a great sausage to add to a breakfast sandwich. It's flavorful and made with plant based ingredients. The texture is a bit soft and mealy but the crunch of the toasted English muffin provides the crunchy bite to this really flavorful treat. My other concern is that these sausages were not easy to find in my neighborhood store (as I've noticed with other plant based products). I'm hoping with more word of mouth, this product will be become a staple in everyone's freezer and will be easier to find.

I am not sure why the negative comments. I have been a vegetarian my entire life so I am not comparing these products to meat and enjoy them for what they are. I am big on texture so I am not a fan of these if you microwave them...but if you put them in the air fryer, oven or pan fry them for a slightly crispy outside they are the bomb!

I didn't tell anyone what kind they were while they were cooking or while we ate them & they were a hit. The seasonings are great, we tried the maple flavor. The lone surviving sausage was broken up into a breakfast burrito the next day. I'd buy them again!

We all find it to be a healthy alternative to actual meat products. My daughter prefers the traditional and my husband and I like the spicy!
