Have to admit we have never set a canopy up before, tons of tents but not a canopy, so take this for what it is worth...the construction and materials are excellent. Very sturdy, nice top, walls, sunshade and weight plates. We have not used the bag yet. Now about putting it up. The instructions included are horrid. There is a video on youtube but it looks like that canopy if a few years old and all the parts are broke in because it is NOT that easy to put up. We struggled for about 1 1/2 hours trying to scissor the outer bars closed enough to get the pins in. I finally just scissored it best I could while my husband jammed the corner up and the pins locked. Some bars are bent, not 90 degree bent but the tension is so tight that some of the bars have a slight curve. Maybe it is supposed to be that way so it doesn't collapse, no clue but if you can get 3 people to set it up the first time otherwise you may end up hurting your helper. HAHA but seriously.

I have had this canopy for less than two months and already the sides have torn in numerous places. The material is basically PLASTIC. Not nylon or canvas material. Everywhere that you Velcro the sides to the frame have town loose ripping the side material at almost every spot. Several seams have also torn. All this in pretty average winds. Winds were expected to be slightly higher so I took the canopy down and stored it way so I at least had something left of it to take back to Sams Club. I had an EZ-Up that I bought from Sams over 10 years ago and the side material was twice as thick as the Z-Shade and was in fact a nylon base and not plastic. After this many years, the seams dry rotted and the sides finally began to give way. If you just need the top, then this model is ok. Still the top is not the material that was on the EZ-UP which used Duro-Last Roofing material while the material used for the top of the Z-shade is not the same quality it seems to be holding up OK but not sure on how long it will last. Will not buy this again and I hope that Sams will take it back?

Love it! We set it up a couple of days after we got it and it was very easy. The sides go up nice and zip up very easily.

i was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the tent. New improvements make it a winner. Not for there day shows but great for a one day.

I have tried the less expensive and they didn't hold up, really like the sturyness and accessories great canopy

The shade tent is perfect. The article told exactly what I expected and the arrival came long before expected and needed.

My second weekend using this tent the corners keep popping out! While I am sitting here I am afraid the tent is going to come down on me. I am going to exchange first to see if this helps.

Goes up easy, I like it

We purchased the z shade tent from Sam's and set it up for the first time at a big craft show. The first day it rained and every seam leaked ruining our product. Returning it today. Definitely a disappointment since the last tent we purchased, an EZ Up, also came from Sam's and we used it for 3 years at least 30 times a year. After all that use the wear and tear finally took its toll and it started to leak.

You get a lot for the money but quality is not that great. We have 15 of these tents and are planning to buy two more. But I think it's time to find a different tent. The inner and outer trusses do not last. They break at the point where the bolts pass through. This is not user error. We always make sure there are 4 people to open each one of these. One person can, but beware. You will end up with a broken tent much faster. The parts add up quick and it becomes cheaper to buy a new one and scavenge parts from the old ones. The bags are not great and the tops tear over time. Also half the time these are set up indoors, so weather is not a huge factor in the longevity.
