This is the perfect size freezer for me.  I am amazed at how quiet it is.  i was concerned about it not having wheels like some of the more expensive ones I looked at but it slides so easily that it is not an issue.  It is going to be great being able to freeze my garden's vegetables. Canning is fine for some things but many vegetables are better frozen. 

Sam's was the cheapest place that I found. Freezer is super quiet. Love it!

I bought this to replace one that had started to go out intermittently. I bought it online and had it delivered. The darn thing will not freeze and I am going to have to throw out alot of food. NOT HAPPY at ALL!

I really like this freezer. It comes with a lot of nice things that make it a great purchase. It is just the right size for us. The baskets that it comes with are really nice and I like that it can lock. The light on the front is visible but not too bright, and so far the freezer has remained ice free. it does have a small amount of frost on the metal inside, but I'm not concerned about it.

About 2 months ago, our last deep freeze, froze its last freeze. About a week later, we discovered where the smell was coming from. Needless to say, we got rid of it as fast as we could. 2 weeks ago, the wife and I went price and model comparing. For the size, the price was just right and the energy savings, I feel met the size and the price. This little beauty found a new home.

This freezer is perfect for our family, it's quiet, not too large or small, comes with a couple of storage baskets! There's a light on the outside to let you know it's working. I love the fact that it has a lock however.... I have no idea how the lock works?

Upon unpacking the freezer, my daughter noticed several small dings. The box was in good shape so was the freezer damaged before packing? My daughter appreciates the gift but thinks you should reimburse me for the damages or provide an extended service agreement free of charge. They have plugged in the freezer but have not placed food in it yet. There is some fear that the dings indicate actual damage to the item.

I bought this freezer because I've been buying bulk meat lately. I put 1/8 of a cow and 1/4 of a pig in it so far and there's still plenty of room for more. Just to give you an idea of how much meat, the 1/8 of a cow will fill up the freezer in a standard refrigerator alone. It's not heavy when empty and can be easily moved. It was perfect as an overflow freezer.

I wanted to get a freezer that would work well for us to keep some stuff in reserve since our freezer in our main refrigerator is tiny. The hotpoint is excellent. It got down to temp quickly and is really silent. We have it in our basement,but even when it was running for the first time and I was right next to it, you could barely hear it. Can't wait to fill it with everything we need for this winter.

I purchased this chest freezer for my wife as a surprise on her birthday. It has been everything she wanted and more. Plenty of space, option to add shelves. Easy to access everything in the chest. Its very deep. We like that the back is flush so we can push it all the way against the wall in our garage to maximize space. It doesn't feel like it takes up a bunch of room, but when you open it it's huge. The freezer is silent and user friendly. The food stays frozen! Very happy with this purchase!
