We bought 2 of these as Christmas gifts for our soon to be 8 and 9 year old. Got them on sale for about half of the original price. I can't wait to gift these because, these bikes are totally awesome! They are going to look a bit smallish on delivery, seems the height of a 5 year olds 12" bike but assembly was really easy, it came fully charged, and works for big kids because despite the height there is plenty of room to sit back on the seat and it's built sturdy ( plus I think smallish bikes are the new style now). The fenders and things are all plastic but they seem pretty solid. I would not mistake this as a motorcycle because of the size and the extremely quiet lack of an engine. Based on the way the photo looks I bought full face helmets thinking it would extend the motorcyclist/dirt bike look but looking at it in person I'd say don't bother, the bike is awesome to look at but doesn't come across as extreme to me so I think a regular helmet will work fine. At first I thought it was a typo when it said it could support "220lbs" but the tires are wide, the frame is solid, and indeed my 6'2" 190lb husband easily rode it with his knees high, and it had plenty of quiet torque. He had a blast swishing through the neighborhood on a test run while the kids were away at school. He wants one of his own now and it was as much fun to see as it was to ride. After the test runs were over we were putting it away and realized that the bike had only been on the 6mph setting the whole time so the 12mph setting will likely be 2 times the fun. It doesn't tell you in the description but there is a charge indicator (kinda like a fuel gauge) so that was a happy surprise. I believe it can fit a child from mature 5 up to 13 but I wouldn't buy it for anyone over 10 because by then they are almost tall enough to ride a real one. I personally would like it to be a little bigger but I am sure it would have been well out of our price range if they did monster size it. I'd recommend this over a Razor or any other electric scooter in it's class. We are on a budget, so I originally had invested in a Hello Kitty 12 volt scooter for the 7 year old but after seeing how awesome these were I quickly sent it back and sacrificed a few of other random gift items I was considering to gladly pay almost twice as much to get another one of these. It is worth the investment. The goal was to get a scooter with good pep, a good warranty, low charge time, and long battery life that will last them through the next 3-5 years and this certainly does all of that at an affordable price. whereas I think Razor and Hello Kitty would have had to be replaced in 1-2 years so in the long run you are saving money and buying an extremely fun, cool looking, quality toy for your kid. My kids are pretty stagnant due to video games, tablets, and 24 hour cartoons but I know this investment is going to regularly get them out of the house into the fresh air, so that alone is worth it :) .

My 5yo nephew had one so my 6yo old wanted one too. It's so sturdy and so fun, way better than regular bicycle. My daughter still hasn't learned to ride without training wheels but she was able to balance this immediately. By the 3rd ride she was off tossing in the grass and over bumps. I want one for myself now.

I got this for my son's 10th birthday and he loves it. The battery life is great. We went 5-6 miles the other day and it was at about 50% afterwards. I can ride it too, but I am only 5ft 1. Anyone taller than me might have trouble w/ knees hitting the handlebars.

I spent about a month reviewing bikes before I decided to give this one a try. My son had ridden one at a friends house and decided he needed his own. As stated by many other reviewers this is a sturdy bike right out of the box. The instructions were very clear and the bike was easy to assemble. We did turn off the slow switch so the bike could go faster. This to was a simple process, just know going into it the bike comes preset to slow and you will have to make the adjustment. My son who is 8 zips around on this bike and has a blast. His sisters,12 and 10, like to ride it and so do mom and dad:). Yep, it is fun for the big people too. We haven't had any problems with this bike and don't anticipate any. We love it and recommend it.

My daughter got one of these (in camo) for Christmas last year. She rides it as often as she can. It's fun and fast and, while it's recommended for up to 12 years old, she's 14 now. Grown men have ridden it. All her friends ride it. The only thing I do not like is that it's so low to the ground, it's hard for drivers to see her..

I bought this for Christmas 2016, in February. Lol but the price was so good I had to. My boss had bought this for his son and actually put it together at work. Once charged this little bike had no trouble going with a 200lb man riding it.

My grandson is so pleased and tells everyone his Nana gave him a His. SIZE HARLEY

My son is 6 yrs old and he loves this electric motorcycle. It was a surprise present and at first he was disappointed because he thought the box had a giant robot in it or something. When I showed him the motorcycle he was totally "MEH" about it. But the next day after it was fully charged we couldn't get him off the darn thing! We took him to a big grass field to get used to the throttle and brakes which was a great idea because he fell about 3 times in the first 30 minutes. But afterwards we cranked up the speed from 6mph to 12mph and he was riding it like a pro. He rides it everyday now and is totally in love with this motorcycle. It's even powerful enough for a grown up. I'm 6ft and 180lbs and I can ride it to my brothers house up the street no problem. A single 4 hour charge gave about 3 days worth of riding. We bought it at a fantastic price and all the neighborhood kids are totally jealous. I tell their parents it was under one hundred dollars and they're all amazed. Get it before it sells out!!!!! I'd recommend young riders wear knee pads and of course a helmet to be safe.

I ordered 2 of these and one of the power cords don't work.

Ordered this scooter for my 6 y.o. daughter. Contents upon receiving were horrible. Just kind of thrown together. Big bummer because it was ordered for Christmas and it doesn't work :( The look on her face was indescribable. Definitely a huge disappointment!!
