I like to operate fans on the highest setting and these seem unable to handle it. purchased two of these and have been running one of them today on high--it started off fine but then after about 30 minutes it seems to sound anemic-ish... as if it can't handle the task. I turned it down to the medium setting for "recovery time." The other fan I ran for a few days and almost from the get-go on high it started making. a kind of noise as if the alignment somewhere is off. Now it makes that noise on all three settings. I am disappointed with the sub-par quality.

I like how they made the feet longer so they won't tip over when on high. I have an older model of one just like this and one morning when I got up it was going very slow and thinking as old as it was I turned it off and ordered two of the 3723 fans then when they came in I turned on the old one and it was working just fine like nothing was wrong. The new fans seem stronger and I think that is the design change of the grills may be the reason for that. The best part of getting these fans was getting them from Walmart online because after wasting a day running around to find out that everyone was sold out, and I was able to get it delivered to the store with free shipping.

I ordered the Lasko premium box fan online and was disappointed. Lasko is a good brand and it probably works fine, but it came dented and the quality I felt was not up to their standards. We have the Lasko windshield fan which is sturdy and works well, so I purchased another in the store. I should have done that in the first place. Our old one is over 10 years old and still works like new.

Works great for blowing a lot of air, it is very slim making it easy to fit into a window without falling as easy as a deeper fan. It can get rather loud on the 2 highest settings, expected for the air flow and the slender size. It's not fancy looking, just hoping that old style is as long term dependable as the old stuff that lasts and lasts. Been using this fan for 2 to 3 weeks now during this heat wave along the coast of BC canada.

For the price this fan works very well to move air around. I'm satisfied with my purchase. Yes, the cord could be a little longer, for those who noticed it, but I think most people use extension cords to move our fans around the room so it is not much of an issue.

Over priced compared to similar models. It is shipped from Walmart, only in original box which has no padding of any kind. This allowed damage during shipment. (dented and on/off switch crushed inward) Although marked as "like", I haven't been able to try it yet because of the damage. Will be returning it to my local Walmart. And they wonder why Amazon is taking over.

order for my daughter who is away in college. LOVE that I was able to ship it to a local Walmart near her and she just picked it up. Tried other sites but they would not deliver to the campus. Will definitely use again ... great fan too!!! Nice and quiet!

I wanted some window fans for my bedroom, but couldn't find what I wanted. The ones designated as "window" fans (with the sliding side panels), just didn't move enough air. I got two of these, taped them into my window frames for stability and improved airflow, and they work great. In just one month, the electricity savings paid for them. Plus, the gentle hum of the fans at night creates a soothing "white noise", which actually helps me sleep. I took advantage of the free shipping, and they arrived within three days. I am extremely pleased. I only wish they had a switch to reverse the direction of the airflow, but that is a minor concern.

From other reviews I expected it to be quieter than what it is. I needed something for in the window in the evening, so I can still hear the TV while cool air is pushed into the living room from outside. It does the job on level 1, but anything higher and it is just as loud as a cheaper model I bought previously. For the price its a nice fan though. I am not complaining. I got two of them and they do what they are supposed to do. They blow pretty hard on all levels. So even on the low level it does what it needs to do and I can still hear the TV. ;)

The fan meets my needs and exceeds what I expected. It moves plenty of air and does so quietly. It replaced an aged box fan that finally broke a blade when the wind blew it off the window sill. That fan was noisy, but moved a LOT of air! This new one is much quieter and moves almost as much air through a screened window. It works very well!
