Amazing Tire

I bought a set for my 2017 Hyundai Elantra a month after winter started and I never regret it. It's an all season but does amazing in the snow. If there was lighter snow I wouldn't have to shovel. I never got stuck once. I'm actually going to take these off and save them for next winter and put a set I got with the car back on.

Reliable

New Honda Civic Coupe purchased in 2012, original tires are still rolling. Im just now purchasing new tires at 93,740 miles. The tires are showing wear but still performing. With regular maintenance and rotation, I have gotten my monies worth. Looking to purchase a new set from Continental. This time I will upgrade to the True Contact tire. I expect satisfaction due to this current experience. God Bless.

Last a long time, but very loud

These came as OEM tires on a 2010 Civic sedan. They gave me 56k miles, but got very loud as time went on. Almost unbearable towards the end. Couldn't even have a comfortable Bluetooth conversation. I might have gotten 3-5k more miles out of them, but decided to upgrade early. If you don't mind the road noise they do last a long time. Not 80k warranty long, but longer than most.

Only lasted 20K miles....not long enough

These tires are too expensive to only last 20K miles. I've seen other reviews with longer mileage but I guess I wasn't that lucky. Everything else was great with the tires but I expect to get more than 20,000 on tires. I just spent a lot of $$ to replace my tires after 20,000 miles. Not good.

The tires are covered for wear, so, if they are evenly worn down to 2/32" of tread remaining, with proof of tire rotation every 6,000 - 8,000 miles, you dealer can replacement under the mileage warranty.

Love these tires!

Bought my 2012 Subaru Outback in Oct 2011 and it came with Continental ContiProContact tires. Dealer rotates them with every oil change and I currently have 109,300 miles on them. I live in Northeast Wisconsin and drive a lot of highway miles but have never gotten over 70,000 on a set of tires. I love them! Plan to replace them before winter with the same ones.....going for another 100k!

Disappointed

Our 2014 Accord has 50K miles and the dealer says the tires need to be replaced. The tires have been rotated every oil change so I can't figure out why they didn't last 60K miles as expected. The dealer wants to replace with the same tires but I'm going to shop around.

Thank you for providing a review of our tires. There are many factors that contribute to the wear of your tires. Because driving habits and conditions vary it is impossible to predict the exact life of any set of tires. As for the wear and a recommendation to replace the tires, most dealers will recommend replacement at a measurement of 3/32" - 5/32" of unusable tread remaining, which equals 11% - 33% tread remaining. The usable tread is down to 2/32" of tread remaining, so we recommend obtaining the actual tread depths across the face of the tires in order to confirm if this is just a service recommendation or if replacement is required.

OK for factory tires

These were the factory tires on my 2012 Subaru Outback. I live in WI and have had these tires since I bought the car. I drive about 65 miles/day round trip and they are fairly quiet. They handle nicely in the snow, sleet, ice and rain. I was told that the all-wheel drive feature creates an uneven wear pattern. Nonetheless, I am at 55,200 miles and need to replace them. The tread in the center of the tire is good, but the outer aspect is poor. Not sure if this is the tire, the all wheel drive or an alignment/balance issue. (In defense of the tire manufacturer, I didn't rotate them like I should have.) I have averaged about 28-31 mpg on the highway with these with winter being the lower & summer being the higher.

Mileage not good

I worked in the tire business for 19 yrs, never have I come across an issue with Continental tires. The ContiPro came on my 2017 Chevy Trax I have 7,607 miles on this vehicle and have maintained all services and rotations and less than 4/32nd left on the tires,, I would like to know what I could have done differently, as I am accustom to closer to 18,000 to 30,000 miles on the average tire. per Ron DiCriscio 2/14/2019

There are many factors that contribute to the wear of the tires. Because driving habits and conditions vary it is impossible to predict the exact life of your tires. We can only speculate that if they where properly rotated and maintained, they likely achieved the mileage that they were designed to last based on the characteristics that vehicle manufacturer required of the tire. Although treadwear is not covered under the new vehicle tire warranty, if the tires are evenly worn down to 2/32"-4/32" of tread remaining, with proof of tire rotation every 6,000 miles, we can assist you outside the terms of the warranty. The dealer will need to contact our office with their inspection Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM Est. at 800-847-3349.

Wore out too soon

My previous tires lasted 40K miles. Purchased four tires Jan 2017 and was just told when I went in for rotation that after 9K miles that due to excessive wear I needed new tires again! My driving habits have not changed and having to buy new tires again is poor quality. Will never recommend these to anybody!
