Mileage not good

I worked in the tire business for 19 yrs, never have I come across an issue with Continental tires. The ContiPro came on my 2017 Chevy Trax I have 7,607 miles on this vehicle and have maintained all services and rotations and less than 4/32nd left on the tires,, I would like to know what I could have done differently, as I am accustom to closer to 18,000 to 30,000 miles on the average tire. per Ron DiCriscio 2/14/2019

There are many factors that contribute to the wear of the tires. Because driving habits and conditions vary it is impossible to predict the exact life of your tires. We can only speculate that if they where properly rotated and maintained, they likely achieved the mileage that they were designed to last based on the characteristics that vehicle manufacturer required of the tire. Although treadwear is not covered under the new vehicle tire warranty, if the tires are evenly worn down to 2/32"-4/32" of tread remaining, with proof of tire rotation every 6,000 miles, we can assist you outside the terms of the warranty. The dealer will need to contact our office with their inspection Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM Est. at 800-847-3349.

Very satisfied, looking to purchase second set!

This is the stock tire that came with my 2014 Ford Escape and I like them so well that I am looking to replace the first set with the exact same tires. I have over 55000 miles on the original tires and they have about a third of their tread. When I told my wife we needed new tired, she immediately told me to get the same ones as we currently have. We live in Florida and frequently drive on the interstate in heavy rain. These tires work great in the rain as well as on dry pavement.

Came With Car

Bought a new 2013 Nissan Altima and it came with these tires, I have 58000 miles on it and the tires are just coming to the wear bars. I rotate them at 7000 miles run pressure at 35 psi. Car still handles great, very good in wet weather. I live in the northeast so they get driven in snow every winter. The only reason I'm on this site is to find another set of these and compare them to other tires. I know I'll get much better than 60000 miles. Very pleased with the tire.

Best Tires Ever!

These tires came standard on my Subaru Outback, which I bought new in 2013. After 77,000 miles, they're still in good shape. Have never had a problem. I've rotated them a few times and keep them properly inflated. Great tires. Guess I've gotta break down and buy new ones soon. I wouldn't buy any other tire!

Worn before it's time

I bought a VW Jetta in August of 2014 and by April 2017 the tires are worn out. My previous Michelin's lasted 60K miles on my last car. This car was taken to the dealer for all service intervals and rotated as needed, so there's no excuse. I can get cheaper tires that last longer, and I will.

Nice tire, but expensive for 40k rated tire

Stock on Volvo. At 37k+. V-rated for 40k. I'm starting to look for new tires but could possibly stretch these a while. They've worn as expected. They have handled the rainy NW. This product has alternative models that have longer mileage rating. I've noticed people talking about getting 80k and wonder if they have reviewed the wrong tire because I don't see these lasting any where near that without going bald. But overall, I've been satisfied. Due to the cost to replace, I feel I can get a longer rated tire for comparable cost so that would be my only negative. Made in Portugal. I will be looking for a USA made replacement tire if possible.

Great Tires

I bought my Honda Civic brand new and now have over 80,000 mile on it. I had my first flat at 76,000 miles. The tires are worn evenly just the thread is getting low. I will need to buy 4 new tires very soon and hope the last me until I hit 150,000 miles on my Civic.

Excellent Tires

I have purchased at least five sets of the ContiProContacts for the three vehicles (E350, CLS550 and BMW 330xi (run flats) over the past 6 years. Really pleased with all aspects of the tire's performance characteristics. The only downside is the tires will flat spot when the vehicles sit idle for a few days, especially in the cold. After a few miles of driving no issues. Will purchase again.

Awesome traction when new

Rotated every 10,000 miles (Every oil change for this baby SUV) and the tires wore perfectly evenly. Car currently has 55K miles on it and tires are down to the wear bars. Absolutely awesome traction when new, we drove our Escape down an unplowed road in rural Wisconsin a few winters ago. Snow was higher than the front bumper of the car, and we were throwing it over the windshield at 30-45 MPH. When everything thawed out, we took the Escape down a "minimum maintenance road" in rural Minnesota - and fell through the mud. The muck was up to the axles of the little SUV, but it still managed to pull its way out of the mess with a minimum of fuss (Which went on for a good 2 miles). Note if you try this stunt, be sure to hose out the wheels - parts of the wheels were actually underground for a bit, so they got jammed full of mud and everything shook due to unbalancing the wheels from all the mud and gunk jammed on the inside of the wheel
