Good for running, not for talking.

The pros: they are very comfortable and very secure. I do not worry about them falling off and losing or breaking. The cons: It was a learning curve after Apple AirPods to have to reconnect between phone and watch. Biggest issue is if using them for a phone call, they feel like electrical shocks to my brain. Weirdest feeling! It doesn’t happen with music or maybe it’s because I’m wearing them running. But I will never use on a phone call again. My wish: that when you power off it would tell the battery level. I have to turn it off after a run, turn it back on to hear battery level, then turn it back off again.

Even better than I'd imagined!

I'd had the previous iteration, Aeropex, under the Aftershokz branding. I loved those things, owned three pairs overall. I was a little taken aback that these were slightly more expensive - I would have said the Aeropex were expensive, before I'd heard them. And it's the same with these. Once you hear them, you will know they're worth that price point. I did a side by side comparison between the Shokz OpenRun Pro and the Aeropex, and there's no question. Shokz took really really good headphones and made them great. The sound is clearer, and omg that bass though. I'm listening to a song with a bass drop as I type, and let me tell you, the OpenRun Pro captures it beautifully. I've also been told the sound quality of the mic is considerably better when used as a handsfree for phone calls. The quick charging is also amazing. Nothing worse than playing a game on stream and having my headphones go out, knowing that's about it. But with the OpenRun Pro, I'm able to throw them on the charger for 5 or 10 minutes, and they'll be good to go for a surprisingly long time! Overall, I've got nothing bad to say about these headphones. I'm legit trying to think of something, but nothing is coming to mind. I think the worst thing about them is that I only have the one pair right now :)

The Perfect Find

Great sound, amazing comfort, and I can hear my surroundings. If you have the money for these, they are 100% worth it. I feel like I can have a full conversation with these on, with or without music playing. These also stay really clean compared to traditional buds that accumulate wax, dirt, and dust over time. I've worn these with hats and glasses on with very little issue.

Great sound, bad colors!

I originally bought the regular OpenRun's first because I like the idea of being the most water proof. Loved the color too on the OpenRun pair but wasn't too impressed with the sound. I thought it was too empty or tinny sounding. My husband bought a pair of the OpenRun Pro's and when I tried them, the sound was so much fuller and rich sounding!! So I returned the regular OpenRun's and bought a pair of OpenRun Pro's. The biggest disappointment was ordering a pair of blue ones and receiving a pair that looked more teal than blue. Even though the box said blue and what was in the box matched the picture on the box ... but it is still not blue. That's the only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 lol

Too big

They need a smaller open run pro! These are too big and are constantly getting caught on my shirt and jacket collars! Too loose and keeps flopping around when I'm active. I hate it, which is upsetting because for this price I'll have to use it for the foreseeable future. That's what I get for wanting water resistant for running AND long battery life for my 12 hour work shifts.

Worth the upgrade!!

Loving the new updates! This new version’s audio / microphone for calls is definitely better than previous model. Still so comfortable to wear for long period of time, with longer lasting battery power and fast changing. Great for running and also just being outdoors or indoors were you can use earphones and enjoy whatever you’re listening to and still hear your surroundings which make it safer, a really cool feature. Can still be present and be in a conversation with people around you. Very easy to use! Definitely a great buy and would recommend to friends.

great for sports or the hot tub and for those with drum blockages

i got these for there so i could listen to music across all frequencies because i have a blockage on my right drum and its really incredible how they work. i love using them for biking as i can hear the traffic around me and to have at work to listen to books but also be aware of my office environment. lastly they are great to listen to music in the hot tub late nihgt as my neighbors are very close.

Just not sure yet

I wear bte hearing aids and purchased this model in case I needed to wear them to hear my books on tape, podcasts and music at the same time I’m wearing your product. As it turns out, I do need to wear my hearing aids in order to understand the words. The sounds I hear are a bit scratchy, just not real clear. I had tried a friends old pair of open run. I think that’s the style where there’s no much of a curve behind the ear. I don’t know how old hers were but the piece which makes the bone conduction possible was larger and more solid and I could hear speech very clearly. On the model I purchased ( actually got two different ones and found the bone conduction piece small and not as solid and tight to the sides of my face as my friend’s older pair) Not sure why the design change, maybe for comfort but I feel that comfort comes at the price of lessened speech clarity. At least for me.

Smaller louder clear

I upgraded to these from the model just under it. I wanted a little bit more base & I wanted the minis. The fit is way better since I've have a small head. The sound quality is a lot better when I talk to my husband. The controls are the same. The voice is different more human than it sounding like Siri or Alexa.

Great headphones!

I ordered these because as a women running alone in the dark most of the time it’s very important to hear my surroundings! If you’re a runner who enjoys getting lost in your runs with loud music, understand that’s not what these are for! Turns these up as loud as possible and the sound quality isn’t going to be there. These headphones do exactly what they intend to do be super comfortable and allow you to enjoy a podcast or music while also being fully able to hear your surroundings! Worth the buy!
