Slight repositioning sometimes needed

Excellent charge life. Lightweight. Fit is very good, but sometimes the part that goes around the head drops down. I find myself repeatedly pulling back and up on the headset to reposition the “vibration speakers” into place closer to my ears. Because of this, I also wish the volume went just a bit louder.

Pros/Cons

Openrun Pro… Pros: I’ve had several different brands to compare to the Shokz. These have a tighter band around your neck and made better then most, including the Inductivv. However, Inductivv sounds better to me at almost 1/3 cheaper. The battery life of these is way better, I must say. Bluetooth connect is superior as well. Cons: I’ve noticed that the excessive vibration of the speakers, make my ears ring for awhile when I’m not using them. I’ve also had a few headaches which I never get. That’s something the company might want to think about for future litigation. Other brands I’ve owned didn’t do this.

Great Over Ear Headphones

Love the size Love the ease of use Worth the wait Nice upgrade from OpenRun (non-Pro) Range seems not too bad Seems like the same features as previous OpenRun Took a while to ship, ordered at the beginning of November 9, 2022. Didn’t receive till December 5, 2022. I was given email communication on the status (11/24/22) “ We have experienced some system issues but our team is already working on shipping out all online orders as soon as possible”.

Headphones are extremely comfortable, but

Headphones are extremely comfortable, but sound quality and loudness was underwhelming. Walking through a busy warehouse was too much to hear anything with these, even with the volume all the way up. Once the volume was all the way up, distortion began. For the price, these lack the sound quality I expected. If you are looking for extreme comfort and will mainly listen in low-noise environments, then these headphones will do you good.

Next-Level safety gear, A must-have for field engineers.

I have the Aeropex model, and will soon be ordering the OpenRun Pro's. If you're a fitness fanatic then look at other reviews. I service equipment in the field, which means I may be in the middle of a diesel engine repair shop, warehouse, or someone's home. I used to carry earbuds, but my ears no longer tolerate them. Earbuds block most external sound. You can't hear that fork lift that's about to put a fork through your spine because he's watching the pallet, not his forks. WIth Bone Conduction you can hear in 360 degrees, and relay from your phone contact to an in-person contact flawlessly, without worrying about the nearby person over-hearing the incoming speech. It's the ultimate in security and safety! I used to like my over-ear headphones but the over the head support messes up my hair, or worse, traps it and pulls it out upon removal. No such problem with the behind the back of the head design. The sound control is excellent, it's easy to turn down the sound from the unit, to better hear your environment, WITHOUT losing comprehension of the phone conversation. It's like a one-way speakerphone. Your phone contact can hear someone close to you, but you have to relay the conversation from the phone contact to the person nearby. Great security and you can translate at will, especially helpful when the other end of the phone call isn't a native language speaker. They also coexist perfectly with eyewear. I haven't had any eye-protection or glasses that don't work well with these units. Flaws: Some music or voices will cause a 'tickling' sensation. Depending on the thickness of your skin/subdermal lipid layer, this may be problematic during long hold-times with a male voice-over. For the price, I would appreciate a case that also serves as a battery backup/charger. The included magnetic USB cable is great, but when you're traveling it's not exactly convenient to turn off then plug in your connection to the world. I would prefer to be able to charge while using the unit. My Aeropex shut down when connected to the charging cable. Comfort: for me the Aeropex is very comfortable. It's only troublesome when you're wearing a hoodie, as the rear support piece can catch on higher collar shirts/coats/jackets/jumpers. We're required to wear collared shirts, as white-glove field engineers.

Openrun Pro absolutely amazing

I was simply floored. The sound quality is exceptional and the Openrun Pro have solved the "lack of bass" issue. The first set of headphones that I can wear for the entire day without fatigue, and at low volumes, you have excellent background music all day.

Refurbished Doesn’t Mean No Good

I lost my new Shokz headset so didn’t have the appetite to buy another, more expensive, new one. Instead but a refurbished headset - high model - for much less money. The set came in a package as if it were new and performs just as well. So far I am very satisfied.

Not good for biking, perhaps great for running!

The sound quality is much better than one would expect - brilliant design! However, the volume isn't loud enough to compete with the wind noise while biking (though it was recommended within a couple of cycling forums). I wish these devices had a louder volume level so that the USER could decide what is/isn't too loud. NOTE: Without the wind noise, It might be perfect for jogging.

I tried a pair of

I tried a pair of the Trekz Air that my sister had before buying these. The OpenRun Pro feel better in pretty much every way and I'm totally in love. I've yet to be in a position where I've need to worry about a charge despite using them pretty constantly throughout my work day.

Audio drops out on calls.

I want to love my Shokz Open Run Pro’s. They are very comfortable. I love the open ear design. Audiobooks and podcasts sound great! However, the audio drops out on most phone calls. This makes it very frustrating. It’s almost a dealbreaker. I can not recommend the Open Run Pros if you need to talk on the phone. But the audio quality is great and I want to love them. I am not a fan of in-ear earbuds. These solve that problem. Only if they worked better on phone calls. Very disappointing.
