The OpenRun Pro has the best battery and the worst connectivity out of all the Shokz headphones I have owned over the years. It shows connected on the phone but it keeps playing via the phone audio. have reset the headset 2-3 times and still not working properly. just got the headset on 5/18/2024. had to send it back via warranty .. Looks like I might have gotten a lemon. Also the volume keeps fluctuating on them which something I have never had with regular Open Run..

I loved the idea of open ear listening and was eager to try these. My day consists of lots of walking so having the ability to hear surroundings was important. That part is fantastic! Several parts have fallen short and I am disappointed. First is that I was under the understanding that "bone conductive" meant that others wouldn't be able to hear my conversations but that isn't what I have. I have the open run pro. Additionally the sounds regardless of music or voice calls sound flat. Very basic sound. For the price I was really hoping for a sound experience.There also isn't good noise cancellation tech in these. I will keep them but just for when I do walking. I believe that the industry should standardize one type of cable. I am now carrying several cables just for charging. I don't like leaving negative reviews because our society usually only focuses on the negative but these are expensive and just wanted to share. On the positive side they are super cool and help me when I walks so I don't get hit by a car.

Good for running and other general activities where you want to be certain to hear activity around you while listening to music or audio. The connection to devices is not as user friendly as other prominent devices, though not difficult. Sometimes have to fumble around to get them connected when a phone call comes in. Seem to be well made. Over-all satisfied and would recommend for specific activities.

With the price of these, I thought I was going get a sound quality that compared to over-ear Bose headphones, unfortunately I'm not the biggest fan of the bone conduction open ear sound. I listen to music all-day, shower with music on, etc. I do really like these, I just don't get how you can have noise-cancelling when your eyes are openly exposed to outside noise? And they broke right where the band goes into power on/off controls are after about a year. I think I've got a pretty normal size head, not too big but not little either but I wish I would've gotten the mini because they normal size is too far away from the opening of my ear. Like I said, I really do like these, ear buds tend to fall out of my ears too easily so these are great, just make sure you get the right size.

Love the simplicity, even though they are packed with the important features! Battery life, sound, ease, and comfort exceed all of my needs for headphones that are durable for an active lifestyle and allow much needed situational awareness while engaged in any activity.

Ride my bicycle over 7,000 miles a year. Wanted a product that I did not have inside my ear as being able to pick up car sounds as expeditiously as possible is important to me. Your product delivers the goods! Moreover, the sound quality sets the benchmark for affordable listening devices. Pairing is simple, yes simple. Very light, comfortable, not a hinderance for glasses at all, stay on tight, the bass is there with good volume, if you really want to hear the bass plug your years while listening it will overwhelm you. I didn’t believe they were worth it/actually bone conducting until I tried this. When you plug your ears and hear it more.. wow. Talk about surround sound too, like a personal life soundtrack. Great sound quality overall, definitely worth the cost and nice to be able to hear your surroundings/people (at a medium-quieter volume, and pause at a moments notice without having to take anything out of your ear. Very fast charge, very good battery life, easy to connect and control. Try it, free returns for 40 days or whatever!

A friend suggested the OpenRun Pro to me because I wasn't happy with my current ear buds. While I may have been a bit skeptical at first, I am now a HUGE fan!!! So much more comfortable and convenient and it offers me the ability to still hear traffic for my safety. Thanks Jay for recommending them!

Durable and fairly waterproof, no little rubber bits to lose or places to collect sweat and get crusty. I spray a little 70% IPA on a paper towel and wipe them off after a workout. The fact that they work through bone conduction and let you hear the environment is nice, sounds as good as traditional earbuds. Single best feature is that the earbuds are physically connected by the headband, much better solution than other brands that try to use bluetooth pairing between the earbuds that always fails. I have conch piercings that are not bothered, glasses are fine too. Tragus piercing may be a deal breaker due to how these sit in front of the ear.

After spending some time with the Shokz MINI OpenRun Pro. I’ve honestly set aside my AirPods The sound experience is different!!! Shokz offers a different experience that allows me to not miss out on what’s going on around me. I won’t miss a forklift coming by, boss, homie, wifie..etc. asking you a questions, or the car passing by while jammin’ out to Madonna. Shokz are very user friendly before and after reading the manual. Even after having some slight hearing impairment issues, I can still fully experience Shokz in a better way than inear buds. The sound experience is like it’s in your head! It’s just the way you want it to sound at high and low volumes either passing by loud TV’s or just low enough to still hear the creaking of footsteps down the hall. The sound quality experience is again very different in comparison to traditional earbuds or headphones BUT, is very crisp and clear with vocal audio and has nice comparable bas quality some may be looking for. It’s like the music is in your head. If you need that boom, get the top of the line!! The pros are very satisfying for the little sacrifice. There are some songs that may sound quiet but most will be loud enough to almost block out what’s going on around you. The durability is not at all what I expected. I was very delicate and gentle with my Shokz. Too afraid to set them anywhere(still am) but the case or near water (let alone sweat) You don’t have to worry about any of that with the Shokz OoenRun lineup. You have more durability coverage with the OpenRun’s and colors! Just give em a quick rinse. The comfort of my Mini Shokz is superior to any other headset I’ve owned that sits over ear or in-ear. Allowing me to feel little to nothing with my thin or thick frame glasses. Of course there is some slight discomfort by the end of the day from having something natural on. This feeling is far less in comparison to an inear headphone. I can wear a beanie comfortably without the awkward scratchy noise other In-ear buds give or have something large sticking out of my ears. The Shokz have a very unique, slender, and discreet design. The battery lasts a whole day and some depending how you use Shokz. Shokz have outlasted all my previous headphones I love my Shokz!!!
