The yokes were a dark yellow, almost orange. This is the sign of a healthy diet for the chickens. And makes the best flavor!

Did anyone else notice this last batch having a very dark orange color? I know this is usually a good thing( when I purchase pasture raised eggs) however there seem synthetic and smell weird??
