Liquid dish soap

So I received a bottle of Seventh Gen's Liquid Dish Soap free to try; totally appropriate for the mountain of dishes we do during these pandemic times. Have to say, the soap had been extremely tough on grease and food dried/stuck to dishes, and really like the idea of the all-natural ingredients . No complaints so far, if anything the natural scent the literature mentioned it would have (hint of tea and citrus) is so faint I don't even really smell it, which I'm actually partial to because some dish soaps almost overpower your olfactory

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I'm so thankful I got to try this dish soap for free. I was actually so excited to try it out. As a mom of two, we have dishes all the time. At first I couldn't get over the fact that the soap was scent free. I was so used to buying soap based on scent that it took me by surprise. Over the last week of using it, I can actually say i preferthe scent free soap. That and it works really well cleaning the dishes. My dishes have never been so clean and I love that it's non-toxic. I can't wait to continue purchasing this product!

Great product

I received this product for the purpose of my honest review. This product is a clear soap. It did not have a strong smell or chemical smell. It left no residue on things that i washed and was strong enough to remove grease and oily food left on cookware. I love this product and will continue to use because i like less chemicals and harsh materials for anything used for my family.

Our go to soap

Seventh Generation Dish Soap is a reliable option for eco-conscious consumers. Formulated with plant-based ingredients, it effectively cuts through grease and grime without harsh chemicals or artificial fragrances. Its biodegradable formula makes it safe for the environment, and the fact that it's cruelty-free adds to its appeal. While some may find it slightly pricier than conventional brands, its performance and environmental benefits make it a worthwhile investment for those seeking greener cleaning options. Overall, Seventh Generation Dish Soap delivers on both effectiveness and sustainability.

Exhilarating Summery Scent!

I received and tried out Seventh Generation's Summer Orchard Dish Liquid. The dish liquid comes in appealing packaging that is easy to open and use. It is a plant based formula, which I love! There are a few drawbacks, it is not as tough on grease as some other dish detergents I have used. And I also wish it was an anti-bacterial formula. It works great though and has a wonderful, summery scent that I really love! I received a free product for the purpose of my review. Opinions are 100% my own.

I like the fragrance free option quite a bit. But I find the shape of the bottle a little cumbersome, and it takes up more space next to my sink than Mrs. Meyer's. It cleans just fine, but the soap is really loose and watery so it's easy to use too much. I go through it pretty quickly for that reason.

I love my seventh generation dish soap!

I have always wanted to try seventh generation but honestly always by the cheapest thing at the store. When I saw that they were allowing us to do a free testing of dish soap I was so excited! I love my dish soap. It work well on everything - its tough and grease and leaves my hands feeling great! I love the scent too and it makes me smile knowing that there are so many natural ingredients in it.

A better soap for washing dishes & birds

Seventh Generation's Dish Liquid Soap works well, smells fantastic, and is EPA Safer Choice Certified. As a member of the Generation Good Community, I received a free bottle to try at home in exchange for my honest review. Packaging: Larger cap - ease of opening the bottle. The top lip of the cap is much larger versus other brands I've used and appreciate since many times one must pop open the bottle with wet hands midway through washing dishes, and can see this being good for younger kiddos and older seniors. The cap and bottle are made from 100% recycled plastic (yay!) and fully recyclable at home (double yay!) - meaning I can toss it in my recycle bin for weekly pickup versus having to take it to a special facility. Ingredients: I received the newest scent Chamomile and Lemon and it is delightful! The smell is bright, herbally, refreshing, and citrusy but not overpowering - a good clean smell with no artificial fragrances. The soap is clear, not unnecessarily dyed, and 100% biodegradable; I feel good knowing it's one small way I can help minimize mucking up our water systems plus safe to use around my human and fur babies. Effectiveness: I washed dishes on three separate days in order to test the performance on a variety of crud. All of my pots and pans are hand washed and I cook a lot in these pandemic times. Sometimes cookware gets left overnight, fully knowing it will be harder to clean the next day. Or I find my preschooler's dirty spoon/snack bowl from 3 days ago, outside, with mudpies on it, right after having filled and started the dishwasher. You know, real-life stuff. This dish soap tackled it all with no problems. I'm assuming here, but if I needed to wash oil off a baby duck - I'd feel confident 7th gen's dish soap would work equally as well as conventional brands but I'd feel a whole lot better using 7th gen's clear and cleanly made soap.
