The bic mechanical pencils are a solid choice. Nothing special but no real flaws either. When I was in high school the sparkle color actually had glitter specks. And there were pens in the same glitter colors. Now they have what I often see described as a “metallic” finish. Which was disappointing. I was thought I was getting glitter.

Useful mechanical pencil with very pretty barrels. Works perfectly and looks super cute. Feels comfortable in the hand for lefties as well as righties. Each pencil has more lead within the barrel to maximize its usefulness without having to stop to sharpen them. My kids love mechanical pencils and this has always been our go to brand. We love all the color options so the kids can have the style they want. only reason I dis not give it a 5 star is because its pecils and pencil lead breaks and the erasers well they do tend to smudge more than erase but that's a minor thing, kiddos always have alternate erasers to use
