I originally bought this for a back up for my home, so far I have not yet needed it yet. However, this is by far a better unit after doing a lot of research, especially the option for 3, yes 3 different fuel types, which i have tried all 3 and work seamlessly!

It took 2 months to receive my generator due to several "out of stock" delays, but it finally came. This 250+lb monster came nicely packed with everything that was promised. At first glance, the unit looks to be very well made with high-quality metal parts and very little plastic. Installing the wheels was easy enough as was the rest of the minimal assembly. The owner's manual is pretty well written and understandable however It doesn't say whether you can use the manual start (on gas) without the battery attached (or discharged). I read a review that you can't which defeats the purpose of a manual start. Why would I use a pull start if my battery still had juice? Anyway, when I attempted to start the generator for the first time it took several attempts which I chalked up to no residual fuel in the lines but when it did start it ran smooth and a lot quieter than I anticipated. It's not quiet by any means but no worst than my lawnmower and actually quieter than my snowblower. So far, my only complaints would be that the oil fil cap and the gas cap don't screw in very smoothly and may take several attempts to line up the threads without forcing it. The other thing is the location of the fuel fill inlet. It's dead center on the top deck of the Generator which means it's tough to pour fuel without spilling. I haven't had a chance to power my house with it yet (my electrician hasn't installed my external transfer outlet yet) but it appears to be an impressive unit. Like I said ..So far so good.

Whole home generator with TRI fuel option to power most appliances in my home. Runs great on 1/2" supplied natural gas line. Comes with everything needed ( natural gas hose and propane gas hose included) This is one awesome machine that I would recommend to anyone looking for a generator during a power outage.

This came on time, started up perfectly. My HVAC technician set up the NG line and my electrician hooked up the 35 amp input in about 2 hours. The switching on my fuse box is done and the manual safety is now installed. We now feel prepared for adverse conditions if they come up, plus Champion sent me an high altitude carb needle with full instructions which was worth the 35 min hold time as I spoke with a great representative who gave me details on NG pressures (sent a pdf) . She was super informed, I feel in good hands with this tri fuel generator. Thank you Champion

I bought this generator because it can run on natural gas, and did not want the hassels of refueling. While I have not used it long term, I did test it. it is wired to my breaker panel with an interloc, then started turning things on including central air conditioning and the gas boiler. There was only an expected a very short audible load on the genreator when the compressor kicked in, after that it hummed effortlessly. Much quieter than I expected. If anything changes, I will post an update.

I use this generator for power outages. I use it to power a window air conditioner and refrigerator. I hook it to my natural gas supply line and it works great. It's nice not having to store many gallons of gasoline or many propane tanks especially after a hurricane when there are long lines of people getting gas.

I have a small house so the generator powers everything very well. Seems to have plenty of power and runs real smooth under a load. The gas line it came with was very handy and seems to be well made. The only issues that I have is that the tire kit that came with it are plastic and I am just curious about how long they are going to last every time I have to move it around the house. Also the rubber cover that goes over the gas port when it's not in use and the rubber plug covers seem to be a little on the cheap side so not sure how long those are going to last. But those are minor things and overall I am very satisfied with the purchase.

I use this generator primarily for ensure that I will have dependable electricity when the "lights go out," down here in Florida. I played with this unit for a week until I was comfortable enough to know exactly what to do, and do quickly, should I lose power. I tested most everything. Overall, its easy to set up, but you need to heed all requirements for use written in the instruction manual. Don't depend only reading the Quick Setup guide. There isn't enough info in it to ensure total safety.

I've had the Champion Tri-fuel and am pleased wits overall performance running on propane. Once my natural gas connection is installed I intend on only using it as my fuel source. I'm confident it will have sufficient power to run my 2.5 ton AC as I've installed a soft start kit on it. I plan to run it every month or two regardless to keep everything internally well lubed so it will last for many years.

Brand new! Have only had a week or so. Running on NG, quick starting and smooth running! Time will tell the bigger story, but to not be dependent on gas is a huge plus, eliminating the worst of headaches while during the worst of times, Hurricanes. Leaning on my Champ!!
