Fully cooked for a fast, but proper supper when time is tight. Thaws from frozen in jiffy. I like to cube it and add to a pot of pinto beans. Put the “striped suit” on at the grill and brush w/BBQ sauce. Warm through and slightly brown adds southern charm to a couple of veggies. Why eat out!

These Smithfield ham slices are a salty satisfaction! My dad asks for these when I visit him, because they are his favorite! The slices are thick and meaty with not too much fat. They are perfect for an entree, a sandwich, or to flavor beans. There's no bad way to use them!

We buy these all the time and they are a great Plan-B meal. They defrost fast and cook quick under the broiler. I didn't think they were overly salty. With other saltier hams, we've soaked them in water for a bit before cooking to remove some of the salt. As far as customer service, we had one ham that seriously wasn't right. I messaged Smithfield via their web page and they apologized for my bad experience and sent me a couple $5 coupons in under 24 hours. I think that was excellent customer service. I'll continue to buy these hams :)

This ham makes great sandwiches when slightly fried on each side. Bone can be used in soup. Good quality and thickness.

Thses are very good ham steaks. One of the ways that I use them is when I cook dry beans. Delicious.

This Ham Steak is good with a meal, but it is a little too salty if you don't boil it some first to eliminate some of the salt before frying. Smithfield needs to go easier on the salt - but I'm sure they are just trying to use the added salt as a preservative. Many older folks, like myself, have to watch salt intake.

These are good ham steaks. They do contain quite a bit of water (which, of course you're paying for). That's why the three star rating, but I just cook them in a skillet over medium Heat until the water is gone and they crisp up nicely. Once the water is gone it's nice, sweet ham.

We bought this yesterday so we had breakfast ham. Oh my goodness it is so salty we can’t eat it! We are going to use it when cooking greens to wash out the salt. Don’t waste your money on these.

We have bought these before and enjoyed them, but this time they were disgusting. I have never seen so much thick fat on a piece of ham before! I bought them from curbside pickup so I didn’t see it until I got home. After cutting around the fat I lost my appetite and just threw it away. I still have 2 more that will most like be tossed as well.
