My husband and I were initially very hesitant to spend so much on a mattress but after trying out the luxe adapt, there was really no question. It was hands down the most superior bed we tried (and we tried out many different options). Noticeably softer and higher quality, we pulled the trigger and haven't looked back. In the month that we've had it, we've had the best sleep of our lives! We both now very much enjoy going to bed and the mornings are always difficult because we just don't want to get up. This mattress is truly worth every penny, highly recommend!

I first want to say I labored over reading so many reviews until I became confused. So initially we bought a pro adapt medium hybrid California king. It was nice but too soft mostly for me. We did try the Luxe Adapt Firm at first but was reluctant because of the firm language. I always thought we needed a medium to soft mattress. All I can say the Luxe Adapt Firm is more like a medium firm. Initially it will be like a board but we walked and kneaded that sucker to perfection for just about 3 weeks. I will tell you it is soft initially and then supports perfectly. Absolutely the best mattress we have ever slept on. We have never had a mattress where you actually want to lay down on it and get excited doing so. Amazing product! Pillows on the other hand were hard to find. It took almost two months for me buying and returning pillows until I found one pillow that worked with another type of cover for it with a cool side to it. So technically it's a creation of mine so I won't give the brand. If you are looking for some softness, support, and relaxing sleep I cannot tell you how happy we are. Can't believe we had waited this long for perfection. By the way I am 6 foot 2 and weigh about 226. Wife is much smaller but both of us are so comfortable. Do NOT buy if you are a side sleeper. We purchased a "soft" King size. In store it was soft. New bed was delivered and its so firm, It's like sleeping on a carpeted floor without a pad underneath. The bed is only good if you are a back sleeper. I should not need to add comfort to a bed i've spent over $5k on.

I was really excited to get this product however I'm not sure about it anymore. I tried out this particular mattress several times at the store and loved it. I felt buying the premium memory foam would be best for me. It seemed the most comfortable and I like that it addressed pressure points. While I don't sleep hot on the mattress my lower back is killing me now. I toss and turn to relieve the issues in my lower back but given that its a memory foam, its hard to adjust positions. I'm thinking of returning it if it doesn't resolve itself in a week.

Really do not recommend this product at all. Everyone wants to say there is a break in period but nobody is listening to the actual issue. My house is set at 65 due to having asthma and require it to be colder and the mattress is still SOFT. The mattress sinks thru the supportive layers down to the Hard Density foam causing it to feel as your sleeping on concrete. Now the Tempur-pedic website advertises this 13 inch mattress with layers of conforming comfort with a 9cm comfort layer that Comfort Layer - 9cm that conforms to your body to soothe and relax. Then there is a 3cm support layer which includes the pressure relief of APR Material, plus 30% more ultra-conforming comfort. Now convert the 13 inches to cm and you get 33.02 and that means there is only 12cm (4.72 inches) of foam before you are laying on the High Density Foam. Not enough supportive foam to sleep on and not wake up in pain the next morning. I have done this for over a week now in which the store nor Tempur-pedic wants to replace the mattress for a defect. I have laid on my side and my back however my back, neck, and shoulder, consistently hurt. For the price and the competitive brands out there my expectations were a lot higher from this mattress. Now I'm out the money for this mattress and still had to spend more money for another mattress. Extremely disappointed.

One side of the mattress sinks in badly, and there is little support. Can't move off that one spot on mattress or will slide back into indent. Warranty was denied because the indent isn't easily visible. We will never recommend your product and are very disappointed in customer service..

I've had a Tempurpedic mattress for 12 years and the LuxeAdapt Firm has still managed to exceed my expectations. My previous mattress was the AdvantageBed Firm which had a low 8inch profile. While we always loved it. I did feel that it I didn't sink into the bed as much so sleeping on my back still left some pressure points on my back. We went with the LuxeAdapt Firm and while it is a tad softer, it also allows me to sink into the bed much more. I had never been able to sleep on my back the entire night, and I was able to do that on the first night on the new bed. It's really holds your entire body and leaves no pressure points both sleeping on your back or side. Although it says its Firm, it really sleeps like a Med. Love it!!

Very disappointed! Feels like a soft mattress instead of a firm! I have back issues and thought for sure this was the answer, but it made me feel worse. Was told this would be the better one. Not so for me. Should have gone with my gut...ProAdapt firm

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Where to start, softness, honestly with the softness level that I've noticed I would expect this mattress to be a medium firm not a soft. don't get me this is still a great mattress, just not very soft to me...and my body needs SOFT. That's the only major con for me with this mattress. It is very heavy but that's not really a con unless you have to move it solo. Now the PRO's gotta save the best for last. It does conform to your body pretty well, and it rebounds fast also. Movement really isn't felt across the mattress, I can not tell when there is movement on the other side from my side. I wouldn't be scared to try the egg test or water test on this mattress, that's how strongly I believe in this mattress in that regard. I can't do it though, a houseful of animals, so while the mattress wouldn't dump the water, the animal sure would. No waking or being awoken due to movement. I love this mattress in this regard. The mattress's design is attractive and very soft; you can sleep on it and be comfortable without sheets. In summary, this is an amazing mattress in many areas, really the other downfall for me is it's not soft enough, but my back is horribly messed up, so it may be just my opinion. Do I think it's worth the price, no not really. But if you can afford it and don't need a really soft mattress then this could be just the right mattress for you.
