We already had a queen medium hybrid and loved it so we decided to go with the medium hybrid for the king. This one feels like a rock. It's so firm, nothing like our other mattress. We decided to go into a store to test them out again before calling in to swap under the 90 day guarantee and now I have no idea which mattress they gave us because the medium hybrid in the store is also much softer than the one we got. I'm really disappointed and frustrated.

I have slept on Tempurpedic for going on 25 years now and will not ever buy another type of mattress! I just purchased a new King LuxeAdapt Firm 2.0 and had the best sleep last night ever! I am 72 years old and fell about 2 days ago bruising my left side badly and couldn't seem to stop the pain. I slept on that new mattress last night and swear I am a new woman, my body has no pain whatsoever, it is like I never had the injury. My right leg was giving me constant pain as well and now that has subsided. My old tempurpedic split king mattress was 24 1/2 years old so I am sure it had given me the best years and was needing retirement! lol I love these mattresses and since you spend a third of your life in bed, why not have the best sleep that a mattress can supply. I am very active for my age and still do it all. I don't intend to give up easy and feel now I have a new lease on life!!! Thank you Tempurpedic for all you have done!!!! There is nothing I would change on this mattress and I think I have chosen well!

I was so happy with my basic TempurPedic mattress over 10 years ago. When it finally gave out, I tried less expensive mattresses, but could not find something as good. So I went back to TempurPedic. Now they have 3 levels to choose from. I tried the middle level (ProAdapt). I sleep on my side, and I was awakened every night due to pressure on my shoulder. So I exchanged it for the LuxeAdapt. The company was great about switching the mattresses, and I was not charged anything. The LuxeAdapt felt better, but I still wake up due to pressure on my shoulder. I have added a 2-inch memory foam topper (another brand) and that helps some. But I no longer get to sleep through the night. I would have been fine with the price if I could have gotten a good night's sleep. I am at the top level of pressure point relief in their mattress line, but it seems it does not work for me anymore. Next time I am buying a mattress, I will stay at some nice hotels until I find a mattress that lets me sleep through the night, and then I will buy that kind.

It took about 3 weeks to break it in and now it is the most comfortable mattress we have ever owned. We had purchased a Sleep Number Flex-top King ILE mattress. We returned it during the 100 night trail and immediately purchased the LuxeAdapt mattress. Best purchase we have ever made. Well worth the money. I feel so comfortable when I crawl into our Tempur-Pedic. You will not get better sleep anywhere!

I tried switching things up and going with a hybrid mattress and then a traditional mattress for a bit and I'm back to Tempur-Pedic because it's just the best. Things I love about the TEMPUR-Luxe Soft: - It's not hot like some memory foam mattresses can be. - I can lay on my side and not feel like I have to engage all of my muscles to avoid rolling onto my back or stomach. - It supports all of my spine and conforms to my shape. - The edges of the bed have support, so you don't feel like you're falling off the bed if you roll to the edge. - There's almost no motion transfer, so we don't wake each other up every time we change our sleeping schedules. This is a HUGE plus for me. - It has support everywhere, and doesn't have that hump in the middle of the bed AKA "no man's land". - It's not such a deep mattress that you cannot find sheets (this was a huge annoyance with the hybrid. I spent so much trying to find sheets that didn't pull off!) - The break-in period was shorter with this mattress, and I'm not sure if it's because it's a softer model, or something else, but we had one night of wondering if we had made a terrible mistake and then every night since was great. - This mattress is a soft, but keep in mind that it's a TEMPUR-Pedic soft, which in my opinion is closer to a medium firm in other mattresses. I find it the perfect firmness, but this won't be like a pillowtop or a mattress with very little support, you still have the TEMPUR support even though it's "soft". - My husband and I agree on this mattress. Even though we tend to be opposite sleepers, we can both agree on TEMPUR-Pedic.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mattress provides excellent support and comfort. I am able to adjust the positioning to suit my needs. The light provided is excellent for seeing in the middle of the night, but not keeping me awake. The ease of which it works and the quietness when adjusting is perfect.

We spent about 2 hours in the store and settled on the LuxeAdapt but unfortunately, it ended up being too soft and sleeps a lot hotter than it felt in the store. It's a Tempur-Pedic so it's still comfortable but not what we were looking for, especially at that price. We have decided to take advantage of the 90-night sleep trial and are in contact with Tempur-Pedic to get it swapped out for the Tempur-LuxeBreeze Firm but have not heard when or if it's being shipped. Hopefully, we'll hear from them soon and the process will go as smoothly as promised. However, they did warn me that they will only swap the mattress out once so keep that in mind when deciding on mattresses or replacements.

We bought the queen Luxe Adapt Firm to replace a high end traditional coil spring mattress. My husband and I are 60, of average build, weight and height with minor shoulder, neck and back pain now and then. This mattress arrived on a freezing cold day and we were warned it would be rock hard from having been in a truck the night before perhaps and also as it is new. And it was indeed rock hard. However, it quickly warmed up in our house. I lay on it for a few minutes and felt the bed slowly envelop me in a perfect way. We have had it about a month and a half now and it has broken in just right and just enough. I can see how this may not be for everyone. My husband likes it very much whereas I woke up the first morning enthusiastically exclaiming to anyone who cared that I will never ever buy another kind of mattress. My small body aches are gone. Pressure point discomfort from my shoulders from side sleeping were absent. Even tummy sleeping, which neither of us do usually, when done, supports the belly enough, we think, so that it is not over ending the lower back nor pressing too much into the belly. Sleep is deep and restful. I was torn between this one and the Pro Adapt Medium. The Pro Adapt Medium was slightly softer. The Pro Adapt Firm was extremely Firm i.e. hard. And the Luxe Adapt Soft was too soft for our liking. The Luxe Adapt Firm is really more like a Medium Firm feel. So glad we purchased it. We anticipate it will last up to or hopefully over 10 years based on what we've read and heard. Also, we bought the Tempurpedic foundation as well.

While the price was a bit more than we really wanted to spend, we decided to "splurge" in hopes that this mattress ends up lasting us at least twice as long as other mattress. So far, we have been very pleased. I was at first worried that the tempur-pedic foam would be hot, but I have never woken up feeling hot or sweaty. My husband also agrees that he has not felt hot either. Everytime we leave for vacation or sleep other than our home, we cannot wait to get back to our Tempur-Pedic bed! We highly recommend the purchase!
