Publish the Rolling Resistance Data Michelin

The tires have literal decimated the electric range of my Chrysler Pacifica PHEV. I wish that we, in North America, could buy the European Cross Climate 2 tire in the H speed rating. This tire has the best rating for rolling resistance in Europe. Sadly Michelin has decided for us that rolling resistance is not important and that we shouldn't be able to buy those tires here. I doesn't hurt that tire manufacturers are NOT required to divulge rolling resistance performance in the US, as they are in Europe.

Good investment

Crossclimate2 were just installed 3 days ago and so far, they ride soft not noisy and road hugging filling! P.S my daughter has a pair, and she is very satisfied! That is the reason why I got mine also eliminates the season changes! I believe that most insurance accepts them because of a snowflake symbol on the tire!

Thread life so short, it makes Kevin Hart look tall

Michelin has always been my go to tires, but I am getting a bit frustrated with its thread life. Put on Premier LTX before the Cross Climate 2. While the Premier LTX lasted only lasted 36,718 miles instead of the promised 60,000 miles in nearly three years of use, the Cross Climate 2 only saw 30,000 miles before the dealer refused to service them. After switching to the more expensive Cross Climate 2 with deeper threads, I thought I would get longer life but alas, here we are after only 30,000 miles of use and threads are already below 2/32" according to the dealer. While the tires are good otherwise, thread life of 30000 for tires with a promise of 60000 miles is simply not acceptable. Basically crapping out at half the warranty distance in less than 20 months (1 year - 8 months) of us. Micheline essentially replaced their discontinued Premier line with a less durable product and reduced the warranty distance so they do not have to cover warranty

We appreciate your loyalty to Michelin and understand how frustrating it can be when tread life doesn’t meet expectations. While many factors such as driving habits, road conditions, and maintenance can impact tire longevity, we recognize your concern given the mileage and timeframe you described. If you would like to discuss warranty options, please visit an authorized tire dealer for a tire inspection and give us a call with the results while you are there. Our number is 866-866-6605 (Mon–Fri 8 AM–7 PM EST, Sat 9 AM–1 PM EST).

CC2's Are a Great Choice

These are excellent tires for most cars and SUV's. This is our 3rd set of the CC2's. One set went 65,000 and the other 62,000 miles. I always change tires when at around 4/32 and probably could have increase that number, but living in a 4 season area, I'd prefer to have more tread due to winter climate. They handle really well in all environments, for the type of driving my family and I do. Snow, ice, rain, I am always impressed with their control on all surfaces. They have a nice firm, but comfortable ride on our Subaru's. My only issue would be road noise, but it's not excessive and not a deal breaker. Michelin's IMO are always worth the added cost.

Great Product

Just had them installed, wow what a difference from previous tires. Very smooth, quiet and definitely a handle ing improvement as well. Can’t wait to drive them in snow or rain but expect the same. Only issue is trying to get them registered for the Michelin Promise Plan (like my other Michelin purchase a couple years ago) as dealer did not do it?

Great tires these cross climate 2s!

I love these Michelin tires on my Awd Dodge charger ! Nice quiet comfortable ride Great grip in the turns and really sure footed in the snow. I did a lot of research between these tires and the competition and I'm glad I chose these Michelins which were highly rated online as well as by a friend who put a set on his Jeep grand Cherokee !

Gimmick

What you wrote comes across as experienced and authoritative, but I can polish it into a cleaner, professional version while keeping your voice. Here’s a refined draft you could use if you’re posting or sharing this advice: ⸻ I’ve been in the tire distribution industry for 23 years, and in that time I’ve probably handled 7–8 million tires. Based on my experience, you’ll never truly get the best of both worlds with “all-weather” tires. The smarter investment is a proper set of all-seasons for the warmer months and a set of dedicated winters for the colder months. With normal driving habits, that combination can easily last you 7–8 years. While cross-climate and all-weather tires are marketed as a one-size-fits-all solution, I personally wouldn’t trust them beyond two years of use. They simply don’t perform at the same level as a true winter tire—especially on ice. We sell them as well, but I always recommend dedicated seasonal tires for the best safety and performance.

Great Comfortability and Excellent Durability!

The Michelin Cross Climate 2 are the best tires I've ever purchased! I got over 85,000 miles from my first set of tires and I just bought another set. I love these tires! They are quiet, provide a comfortable ride, they perform excellently, and have been great is various weather patterns, snow, sleet, rain or shine. Thank you!

Third set of CrossClimate 2's

This is my third set of CrossClimate2 tires, so actions speak louder than words. I have had excellent service in every area from them. They are not listed as EV ready, but I have found tha there is very little cost in range and much improved handling in my Tesla Model 3. Admittedly they are slightly noisier than the OEM tires, but the car is itself so quiet that it is not noticeable. Improved traction, performance and comfort more than make up for any slight increase in road noise. They will also be my next set of tires, unless something wonderfuilly better comes along by that time. And that will be undoubtedly many miles in the future.

Cheap made tire

I have been a Michelin tire buyer all my life and this is the worse tire I have ever bought . Had them for three weeks and they are so cheap made that I barely hit a curve and it knocked a hole in the side. Not sure if I will ever buy another Michelin tire.
