Absolutely Gorgeous!

I replaced an older version of this trash can that I had for at least 7 years. Yes, that long! I have no complaints if this replacement lasts half as long as the older version. It's very quiet when it opens. It's a minor issue with it opening when you pass too close to it! As you can see by the photos the passage way is not very wide where I have it placed. It only opens occasionally and like I mentioned it's very quiet. Another plus is it looks great with my other stainless appliances. The price is very competitive compared to similar models. I can only speak for the battery life I experienced with the older version and it was adequate. If this newer version fails to meet my expectations I will update my review but at this time I am very pleased with this purchase.

I had this model for 3 years. I took out the very reasonable 3 year extended warranty and got my money back when it died. This can is very well made and I expect this can to last at least 5 years. I can toss in a dripping coffee filter just by waving my elbows so this can is the only trash can type I ever plan on using.

I've had a couple of the smaller motion sensor trash cans from nine stars for a while and have been happy with those. Not surprised this is a great larger trash can. Battery life on all of them are pretty good (have not had to change out batteries on smaller cans yet and it's been more than a year).

I love the trash can. I wish I could've gotten a bigger size, but I just couldn't have fit it in the space. It does fill up rather quickly in my house.
