Best fertilizer for dandelions.
I applied this according to package directions. The next morning, the dandelions had wilted. By the end of the day, they all perked up and seemed to be laughing at me. I waited 10 days and reapplied again. This time, they didn't even try to trick me by wilting, they all smiled at me and went to seed. I am growing the best dandelion field in the neighborhood.

Does not prevent weeds or Crabgrass
I used this product as direct at the beginning of the season before there were any signs of weeds or crabgrass and I had loads of weeds and Crabgrass . I hand picked all the weeds and crabgrass By the rotes to the point there was none left, than used this product again 4 months later, 3 days after applications crabgrass came roaring back. DO NOT BUY!!! It's expensive/ waste of money and you are better off using a Chemical lawn service.

Questionable
Applied the best I could according to directions. Seemed to stunt dandelions, but not kill. Clover wasn't affected. Fertilizer aspect might be working. I hope the pre emergent part works and pays off. 2,4-d will still have to cure my broadleaf issues
lots of feed but no weed
I have a nice-looking lawn from a distance. I have put down lots of food I used the triple action first. This lawn was just planted fresh in the fall of last year so still not a mature lawn. That was my reasoning for choosing Scotts Triple action. I wanted something with good food and something to block the weeds that were not too harsh. Something slow release. I have used liquid nitrogen with iron along with the triple action so my lawn grows nice and green but I still have clover coming in. I was hoping I would be done with clover that's what I bought the Triple Action for. But I am sad to say I will have to find something else for this problem. I have lost a lot of trust in their products. Makes me wonder is there something better out there? How are their competitors working out?

Didn't do its job
I guess I will try this again since my first review did not get posted after verifying the message. My weeds are worse than they have ever been in my time in the house. The grass is the most pale green it has been along with being thinner than ever. I applied with the right settings, in the right weather and according the instructions given. I would love to try and salvage the grass this season but since I made the mistake of using this product it says I can't reapply anything until 4 months have passed. The entire growing season where I live. Won't buy again. I have had success with Scotts products before but they ignored my last post and did not publish in the timeframe they stated even though I don't see where it violated the guidelines they set. I guess that means I am done with Scotts. They could at least care, follow their own guidelines and timelines they state.

My lawn has never looked this bad
I decided to spend more money this year and bought 3 large bags of Scotts turf builder triple action versus the competitive brands and my yard has never looked this bad. I did use exactly as directed. Save your money and use anyone else. So disappointed I thought Scotts was the best.

substandard product.
i have been a long time user of scotts products n i believe in u get what u pay for. But this product does meet the standard of other scotts products. I applied this in the spring n had more crab grass return to my lawns then ever before. I will n do not recomend this product. I will go back to Halts Crabgrasss nweed control. which i know works.

Product Does Not Work as Indicated
This is the second bag that I have purchased in the last seven months. Applied the first bag in the fall (November). Made sure it was applied at the correct rate and watered in good. Applied the next dose in late March, once again watered it in good. Applied a 3rd dose about 10 days ago. It has not killed any of the Dollarweed or clover. All of the doses were applied with a Scotts spreader, using the directions on the bag for coverage. Very disappointed!

This product will kill actively growing broadleaf weeds and prevent grassy weeds that are listed on the label. It will not prevent broadleaf weeds (before or after the application) and it will not kill existing crabgrass or other grassy-type weeds. The active ingredients trigger uncontrolled plant growth that causes the weeds listed on the label to die. You should notice the weeds begin to curl and yellow a few days after application due to this excessive growth. The weeds will die within a 2-to-4 week period, depending on temperature conditions. When applying, the lawn must be wet for the product to stick to the broadleaf weed leaves. The product must remain on the weed leaves for 24 hours. After the first 24 hours, the product must be watered in. For broadleaf weed control, temperatures must be consistently (several days in a row) between 60 and 80°F. For listed grassy weeds to be prevented, this has to be applied before the target grassy weeds germinate. We want you to be confident in our products. I've used your product in the past, and it works great. I have a problem I now live on a small farm with 4 acres of grass, not in the best shape. I thought using cheaper brand might work. guess what it doesn't. Is there a way to buy in bulk, and save on the cost. being retired kinda kills the buget.
Prevention seems to work well
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This seems to work well as a preventative against dandelions. our neighbor has had a lot of success with it. I applied this a little too late in the season to do much for my own, but the actual grass seems to be doing well with the fertilizer.
