[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Makes my lawn shine and the neighbors jealous. Kills clover, dandelions and other weeds. Makes the grass thick and lush amd healty. Great value for the quality of this product. Covers easy and makes any yard look great.

I was in Depot looking for the usual crabgrass preventer as the Forsythia just started to bloom which is the indicator that the soil is warm enough. Put it down with a Scott's spreader at the settings on the bag. First thing I noticed was they cut down the quantity and now it only covers 4000 Sq ft instead of the previous Scotts product that covered 5000 sq ft. Was applied 2nd week of April and the lawn greened up an thickened in a week but weeds were unaffected. Waited until mid May and still no affect on the vast majority of weeds. Gave it another dose and 10 days later still no affect on weeds. I'm going to have to switch to the weed spray now. Disappointed in this product. Hopefully it will prevent the crabgrass this summer.

I purchased this product on the assumption that this would do as advertised. I applied the product as directed and two weeks later, no weeds whatsoever have been killed off, they are all thriving! It's almost as though this product is weed feed. This is a terrible product that I am sorry I purchased. Complete waste of money. Doesn't even deserve one star.

I have been battling clover for 3 years with no success. I thought I would give one bag a try. If it worked it would be worth it, but my clover is thriving better than ever from the fertilizer. I reseed everything year to thicken my lawn and I cut it in next to the highest notch on my mower. I applied it exactly as the bag said. The grass was damp when I applied it and I set my broadcast spreader at 4 1/2.

I applied Scott triple Action mid March 2020 it's just June 9th 2020 I have weeds now I never seen before. This my 1st year trying Scott triple Action and I'm disappointed to say the least. I just applied another coat hopefully it will kill these additional weeds at least till the fall. This product too expensive not to work correctly!

Like so many other reviews here, I applied 3-4 weeks ago and I've now got more dandelions in my yard than I ever have before. First time spending the extra money Scott's vs. house brand and very disappointed that I did. Now I've got to buy something else to eliminate the dandelions that this product seems to have created...

I enrolled in Scott's 4-bag Subscription program, which was supposed to address my weeds and feeding in the Spring. Clover persists despite using the 1st bag as recommended. Wish I had known about this product, which was not a part of the Subscription program. Next year, no subscription for me.

I have always used the Scott's 4 step program and have had good results with it. Last year I came upon the triple action which read on the bag that this product would be easier to use because of less applications. This product did not perform at all. I had weeds coming through like never before, it did not turn my lawn green, and it didn't kill the weeds I had. I felt as if Scotts just put sand in the bag because of how it did nothing. My lawn has never looked worse. I used a Scotts pro broadcast spreader.

First and foremost: have a good spreader, know its limitations, and don't overfeed. Watch how you spread that you don't overlap too much or leave streaks of grass unfertilized. This seems like boiler plate instructions but they are often ignored. I used triple action laying it down in March before the grass woke up. It came up thick and dark green with only a few dandelions and clover that I took care of individually. I don't understand the negative feedbacks. It makes me wonder if there wasn't an underlying problem causing the failure.

I have used Scott products for many years with great results. This is the first year that I have used this formulation. I applied as per directions with a Scotts rotary spreader. The weeds were only partially affected and the grass didn't seem to green up as well as when I used Turf builder in the past. I think I'll use a different product for weed control, and continue with Turf builder for grass health.
