Once I was able to finally put the product down, it appeared that it was very effective in controlling weeds. I used it in our side yard which is 40 feet long by 6 feet wide. Zero weeds at this point. I will put it down again next spring or sooner depending on the weather.

We got rid of the moles and used this on the balding spots as well as the mole mounds. We saw new lawn growth in a week with this product. We used in the fall and have had amazing results. I highly recommend this to anyone who needs to grow their grass.

I applied at the begging of spring. Wet the lawn, put product on, it rained the next day. Two days later, the dandelions were in full bloom, a week later, my lawn was covered in seed pods popping up. I reapplied after 4 weeks because the lawn looked terrible, and still the weeds are even thicker now than before. Now the clover is coming in thick and hearty. There are more weeds on my lawn than grass. I put a border of flowers around the house with weed barrier, fresh soil, fresh mulch before applying this product, and the crab grass has even spread to the mulch. Scotts, are you sure this stuff isn't really weed seed rather than weed preventer?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I put this fertilizer down 2 weeks ago. I would like to see a quicker greening as we have had rain that should have sped the process up. I would also like this product to kill more weeds. This product spreads a long way. The next time I would like to purchase a product that can handle killing more varieties of weeds.

This might work really well in the spring but at this time of year in the northeast region i can't determine if this truly works well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product was great for the grass. Within a week of application in early spring, our lawn had revived from winter and is now greener than ever. Additionally, it promoted expansion into bare spots. However, it seems to have equally fertilized the dandelions in the yard. So far, it's controlling other weeds and preventing crabgrass, though it's still early in the season. With dandelions and clover being the primary weeds in our area, I would have liked a product with more targeted control.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not a professional landscaper by any stretch of the imagination so I had no idea where to start with my backyard full of weeds. I had some kind of vines, clover, dandelions, a broad leaf thing and many more things growing that certainly weren't any kind of grass. I keep it mowed and trimmed but if you looked close, it was a mess. I used this triple action bag on the backyard and even after just two weeks I can see a difference. Not only are the weeds disappearing, the grass is flourishing. Definitely recommend.
