Expected Better

About 12 months ago I purchased this TV for my bedroom. It was great at first. Until around 2 months ago the remote randomly stopped working. I was able to fix this by covering part of the sensor, and it worked again. Then, it randomly started working again without the tape. Come to this week, the TV randomly decided to start disconnecting from my Wi-Fi every time I turn it off. So, now every time I turn the TV on I have to go reset the Wi-Fi history on my TV, and enter my password every time. I truly expected more from Philips. I'm thinking I should have gone with Onn instead.

Faulty TV

I've had this TV for not even 2 years and it started having white vertical lines on the screen. I tried every suggested fix for it, such as resetting the TV every which way and it cleared it up temporary, but now it has totally died with no picture at all - just sound. I'll never buy a Phillips again.

Junk

I bought this TV around 2 years ago and it has been a problem since. The WiFi was always screwed up no matter how many times I reset it. I have 3 other Roku TVs and don't have a problem with them. I went to turn it on today and it's dead. Won't turn on or anything. I will never buy anything Phillips again!!!

DO NOT BUY THIS JUNK!

Impossible to customize. Entire system depends on roku. Impossible to access TV stations individually,must go through Roku software. I hate this television and I'm sorry I bought it. I was influenced by the Philips name. If I could return it for refund, I would.

nonstandard wall mount, no screws

this didn't come with the wall mounting screws. I ordered a kit and the screws from the kit didn't fit. It appears to be some kind of non-standard pattern because I had to buy adjustment arms additionally, and then I had to physically take the TV into the home Depot to find screws that fit. the whole scenario was a giant waste of my time. it's not that good of a TV or even a particularly good deal otherwise. it was just the only 32 inch tv they had at the store. should have gone to best buy.

Not designed for wall mount!!

I'm sure it's a fine TV but it's TERRIBLY designed and won't work with a normal wall mount. The HDMI inputs point out the back perpendicularly and also line up directly with the wall mounting holes. I tried two different mounts and neither of them would fit if you intend to plug in an HDMI cable.

Piece of Junk

This tv is a piece of junk. I got this tv in February and it stop working in April. I left home to go to work, came back home and lines were in my tv. Keep in mind NO ONE was at home all day. I got the two year warranty and the people at Philips are trying to say I cause the damage to the tv. They had me to take pictures of the tv and send the pictures to them. The guy at Philips told me I drop it or wipe it to hard and that cause the lines, so they are not going to fix it. I didn't clean or wipe the tv and nobody was at home all day, so it didn't fall. So I wasted my money on the tv and the warranty. I rate this tv a zero.

120 dollars wasted

This tv sucks the stand is so cheaply an made with plastic. I got this tv and put it on a little dresser and it fell over a couple times because the stand is so cheap. It can literally fall over from the slightest touch. Thats how the tv broke for me because i barely touched it and it fell over and broke. Also there's not even a button on the tv to turn the tv on. I always lose my remote and i played an xbox on this tv so i couldnt even at least turn it on and play, so i actually had to find my remote but i can never keep track of it. Everything else about the tv is ok i guess.

Didn't last a year.

Didn't last a year. How is it that TVs in the past could survive like 40 YEARS and these new pieces of junk won't even last a year. Luckily, called Phillips and they are sending us a refund (assuming the TV arrived to their warehouse ok) but it was a hassle. I'm sick of spending money on crap that doesn't last.

Great Picture

I just purchased this television for my son. We recently cut our ties with Comcast and using Hulu/Netflix and a couple more streaming services to save money. So we wanted an inexpensive Smart TV. We are beyond satisfied with this TV . The picture looks amazing. Be uses it to watch YouTube and play video games. We may purchase another one to keep as a backup. So thankful to have found this tv
