Terrible!!!

I bought this tv, for my spare bedroom. It was used maybe a dozen times, for a couple hours at night, when the grandkids spent the night. I turned it on the other night for the grandkids, it turned itself back off and will not turn back on. Worst investment ever!!!

Easy set up, good features & excellent picture

Set up, from opening the box to watching TV took less than 10 minutes. The picture quality is fantastic, especially considering the price, we are seeing things in movies we've watched that we never saw before. The on screen menus are easy to use. My only complaint, and the only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the power cord is very short. I'd definitely recommend this TV.

I ordered this TV on the 3rd of Jan., and it arrived this afternoon. I had it up and running in about an hour. The picture is very clear, sound is great, and I can alternate between Roku streaming and my cableTV with no problem at all. I have a couple Roku streaming devices, and they have served my needs well, but it is much more convenient to have a Roku TV. Price of $136 is a steal for this smart TV. I highly recommend it.

Don't buy this.

Don't buy this tv. A total waste of money. I bought one for my nephew for his first apartment and the thing quite working within 60 days. no problem its under warranty right? No, Philips refuses to honor the warranty in any way. They won't start a warranty claim or tell me where to take it to be repaired. The customer service rep told me to take pictures of the corners of the television and if I can't email them I should mail photos to the company. She would provide me with the address. Really? Unbelievable! What do the corners of the television have to do with the fact that it quite working without warning? If that doesn't convince you, this tv does not have a power button or buttons to change the channel. If you cant find the remote you cant even turn it on. I will NEVER buy a Philips product again.

Perfect small bedroom TV...

What the title says! After my larger and older TV broke- I wanted to get a smaller TV for my bedroom. (I don't need the full theatre experience in my bedroom when trying to drift off to sleep, larger screen = more light beaming into your eyes) Anyway, the smaller you go the less brands there seems to be to choose from. Phillips is a great brand. The TV is perfect size to fot on top of a chest of drawers or dresser. The picture is good and the sound is great. Loud enough and packs enough punch for it's size. I also chose this TV because of Roku. I use Roku throughout my home and love the Live TV Roku app. It's easy and painfree to click on while trying to relax and drift off. Buy this! You can't beat the price and value for a smaller TV for the bedroom. Now to find the perfect TV stand 🙂

Great little TV!

This replaced another brand of TV that started with a V. Its purpose was to play historical slideshows in an office. The other brand had some limitations on what would play, rendering it useless. The comparable Philips plays the slideshow and much more! The ROKU is fantastic!

Disappointed with 4600 Series Products

Bought two of these products - both works erratically (though works great when working but getting it to work sometimes can be painful. Not a reliable products whatsoever. One of the two I bought in November 2021 is even not powering on as I write this review.

Volume issues

TV is great unless you want to use applications like Netflix, Amazon Prime, Nick Jr., etc. For whatever reason the volume is very low and TV has to be turned almost completely up to hear. Phillips customer service says this is "normal". I disagree, and regret the purchase.

The only thing I really don't like is the remote control. I bought this TV for my sewing room and the picture is great. But the remote control is not a voice control nor does it have numbers on it to select your channel. You have to scroll through all the channels to get to the one you want. I wish I had paid more attention to the remote shown on the box. I sure wouldn't have bought it.

horrible tv

this is one of the worst tvs i have ever owned. the roku remote is garbage. and its not the batteries. try going to netflix on this tv and it takes about 3 minutes to load up on wifi. then once im in netflix ( and its only while in netflix) the remote doesmt respond for about 30 seconds. i believe roku and phillips have something against netflix. try pressing the volume buttom down 3 times because its too loud, it takes about 20 seconds to respond and then kicks me right back out to the home screen. and no its not the batteries. with live tv the remote works just fine. why does it have issues with netflix? and not amazon or other services? i regret buying this tv and will never buy a phillips ever again nor anything pre loaded with roku. since im not sure whice company is the perpetrator in this mess. very unhappy customer here.
