Great TV, but....

This is a great TV . Clear picture, good sound, easy setup. But, (and it's a big one) there is no on/off button on this TV. Who the heck makes a TV without a power button!!! Not much of an issue...until you lose the remote! Then there's no way to watch the TV until you get a replacement remote. Overall, great TV for the money, but for heaven sakes, guard the Remo with your life, (or order a replacement in case!)

There is just a single button that perform simple control functions. The TV panel buttons are not a substitute for the remote, as they do not give you access to all TV functions. Please see the below functions for your single button.– Turn TV on : short press– Display the Input List : short press when TV is on– Select the next input in the Input List : short press while the TV isshowing the Input List– Dismiss the Input List without changing inputs : no press– Turn TV off : long pressShort press = less than two secondsLong press = more than two secondsNo press: = no press within two seconds

Sound is awful.

I’m not one to leave bad reviews but I’m so dissappointed with this TV I felt I should warn others before purchasing. I was so excited to finally have a TV upstairs and it took me forever to get it mounted up onto the wall but I finally got everything set up only to find out that the audio is horrible. It will go in and out every few minutes for no reason whatsoever, keep in mind I just purchased this a few hours ago and handled it with caution. The website for support does nothing and overall I’m just so upset I drove 30 minutes to spend $100 , take an hour to mount the f’ing thing to the wall, only to have to take everything apart and box it back up to return it. Personally I would spend the extra $10-20 for a different TV because this was such a bad investment.

Great TV, but...

I have mixed feelings. The TV has a great picture and sound. I'm having issues with the roku. It's super easy to set up and use. It connects to the playstation and the vcr and provides many free channels to watch. I just have a problem with the invasion of privacy. The camera is in the sensor window that you use to change channels, so you can't cover it up. The microphone is in the remote. It didn't take long before being able to sync with my inability to sit still and would keep me watching commercials while I sat, then the movie would come on when I got up to putz around. It also took all the radio commercials I had on when the TV was off, and started posting them on my FB feed, and youtube began recomending videos pertaining to my private kitchen conversations. Lastly, it stays connected to the inet when not in use. I have a very weak signal and it interferes with me using another device. so I have to unplug the TV in order to use my laptop. I know most people are used to the privacy issue because of their phones, but it's new to me and feels creepy and unnecessary. I gave the TV away after 3 days and bought a stick that's easier to unplug when not in use.

32 inch Phillips Roku Tv

I bought this tv one month ago and all of a sudden it will not turn on!!! I reached out to the phillips techs which was of no help at all, he actually told me the model number on this tv was incorrect. I put the box in the trash two weeks after I bought it and threw the receipt away thinking that there would be no problems. What a waste of money, money that I don't have.

Died after 2 years

Bought this TV March of 2022, and up til this month of 2024, it hasnt been used but a handful of times. Our daughter moved back home a month ago, and now I can say the TV has been used daily. Which, again, has only been a month. smh As of last night, a black screen popped up. You can hear sound but can not see a picture. We tried resetting it, unplugging, and plugging back in. Changed the HDMI cords, and still does not work. For the price, i guess you get what you pay for. It's sad that it's just another thing to end up in our land fields. Buy at your own risk and dont expect a long life spam.

TV Just Won't Turn On

I've had this TV for less than a year and it suddenly won't turn on at all. I've tried plugging it into various outlets (including the unplug, wait 30 seconds, replug method) hitting the reset button, changing the remote batteries, etc. Nothing works. The red LED standby light doesn't turn on either.

Decent for price if you can deal with glitches

To hear many programs on streaming apps, you have to have the volume at 100 or near it. Not for every video, but more than not. And even then you can barely hear it. Lately I've had my volume not even come on. Even on the menu screen. Have to unplug it to reset it and then it works just fine. Sometimes the television will get stuck and again I have to unplug it to reset it and then it'll work just fine.

No headphone jack

EZ setup, great picture and sound. No headphone jack. My wife had this mounted in the gym before we realized it didn't have a headphone jack. You can't use speakers in the gym out of courtesy so this is a real problem. Remains to be seen if a fiber optic (TOSLINK) to analog adapter will mute the sound when engaged. If it doesn't, the TV is worthless to us.

Screen share/No WiFi

This Roku tv is the best because it screenshares from my samsung phone to the television without wifi. I had to use my hotspot to update the television software first. After downloading the roku app on my phone, i turned on my phone's screen share then the Roku TV was available to pair without WiFi.
