The microphone has better quality sound than our local bar's mic. We have used this camping and alot of other campers joined in. The battery lasts up to six hours and is easily recharged with the provided cord. I adore the carry-strap and built in handles for moving it to the car or backyard! It has the fun lights that add the fun to the functional! Our absolute favorite is that we can connect via bluetooth or USB, so we always have options for music, and sound that is crystal clear every time! My kids particularly enjoy the microphone that comes with it, so they can sing along with or without music in the background. Double bonus that a little rain or moisture won't ruin the party! I look forward to many, many more hours, months and years of fun with the PartyBox on the go!!! It's a must have for every family!

I bought this a month ago to use at our back yard wedding after we had to change plans last minute. The sound and quality is great. The battery life is about 3 hours of continuous use which could be better in my opinion.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a music lover in constant search of the best wireless speakers. I have owned the JBL Clip, Charge, Xtreme, Xtreme 2 and more. This new speaker is the "The Rock" of JBL's lineup. Purely amazing. Full, clear sound and thick, rumbling bass, while the two tweeters put out clean highs. The microphone actually came in handy at a cookoff we just held and everyone was asking about my amazing new speaker! For those of you who know and love JBL, this won't disappoint. The party light is a cool touch, as well. Excellent construction, as expected from JBL.

The wireless microphone that comes with the speaker sounds great and feels to be durable as well (not cheap material). I like that you have a port for a guitar and extra mic. Also the knob adjustments for the effects are great to. Bluetooth is an easy setup. I played the speaker at full volume for about 3 hours with no interruption or power loss. Kids love the light show on the front of the speaker making karaoke in the living room more entertaining. I recommend the speaker especially for inspiring musicians who want to play and entertain afew guest without setting up a bunch of sound gear. The speaker puts off great bass to keep the party going. Also the portability of the speaker is a plus. Again I recommend JBL partybox on the go to anyone who likes music or loves to make music, this is a must have

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the PartyBox for about a month and I am loving it so far! The sound quality is excellent and is loud enough that you can hear it clearly from a good distance away. The Bluetooth works from a long distance away, so I can move around with my phone and not worry about it disconnecting. My kids love using the microphone to sing along to the music and make their own songs. It has been a huge unexpected benefit of this product. They also love the light show and the fact that the light responds to their voice. I haven't used the PartyBox for more than about two hours on once occasion, so I can't vouch for the battery life. But another nice feature, that I didn't initially realize, was that you can use the USB port to charge your cell phone. So I have already taken advantage of that feature on several occasions. Some other nice features that I've noticed are the pad on the back and shoulder strap that make it more comfortable to carry, the lift handles on both sides make it easy to lift even though it does have some weight to it.

Product: on-the-go Bluetooth speaker. About me: I'm a big sound geek. I love fine engineering and high quality, crisp deep clarity. I've always tried to find the best sound from the cheapest pricing. Review: this speaker is well worth the buy! I'm very impressed by its sound. It has loud mids, clear high's and rich bass. The Bluetooth function has one volume control on your phone, you don't need to turn up the volume manually on the speaker to be able to control the volume from your phone. Your phone is the only volume control. This does have a USB plug for an old iPod or any other device. Also a common 3.5mm headphone jack for the classic Aux chord choice. Volume is impressive. Its extremely loud. To have perspective, 3-4 clicks of volume up from zero on your phone is comfortable to fill your living room or central part of the house slightly louder than background sound. There are 16 clocks to max volume. Max volume is insanely loud. 100-watts of sound (what it advertises) is what a police siren is rated for (I looked it up lol). It's concert-level sound tailgating or for a house party. Not to worry, the sub woofer has it's own self control and stops it's sound from increasing around 10 clocks from zero. It self-guards itself from blowing the speaker out. Bass is ported to the front and the speaker has amazing bass response no matter where it sits, you don't need to place the speaker in the corner of a room against a wall to get the bass to resonate against the wall for better response. This speaker that wont work, it holds its own. There are two levels of bass boost and it makes a difference. It should always have the first level (highest level) of bass boost while on. My review would change completely without the rich bass response. The speaker is large. Its the size of a gym bag. That's my only negative. Its pretty light but it weighs consistent with a gym bag of clothes. Its not too heavy but if you're walking to the beach you'll want to use the shoulder strap that it comes with. It also has a wireless microphone. It comes with two AA batteries for it. The microphone is rated for 33ft distance. This is nice for the rare times I'll use this for a wedding shower, house party, or other uncommon event if we make announcements or play games and need to announce rules. The microphone has a dial on the speaker for independent volume separate from Bluetooth music connection or wired music input. There is a 1/4” size input for a wired microphone, the same dial for volume independent of the music works for it. Battery: it's rated for 6 hours of play time, and encourages to turn off the light and turn off the bass boost to conserve power. I've gotten this speaker to work with the highest bass setting and the LED light on for 8 hours and it still says it has under half-battery. This is running the speaker at comfortable power, a little over background noise the whole time. Obviously if you're using the speaker at high volume for concert-level tailgate, you're going to want to have it plugged in. I give this speaker a 10/10 if you don't mind its large size.
