I have a 2 month old son that has been recently diagnosed with acid reflux. He has been crying during feeds on his old formulas and has even refused to take bottles. I'm hoping this helps him eat without hurting! He cried some during the first bottle of Nutramigen still. How long should we give them formula to work?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Originally, my daughter was started in regular Enfamil that was given at the hospital. After consistent fussiness, spitting up often and not sleeping well, we made the switch to Gentlese. Unfortunately, that didn't show much of an improvement and after continued colic our pediatrician agreed with our desire to try Nutramigen and we're so glad we did! It has been night and day and our baby girl finally started to be happy - it was like we had a different baby! We're so grateful there were SO many different Enfamil brands we could try - ESPECIALLY that we're all WIC approved!

My plans were to exclusively breastfeed, which is what I did with my previous children. All children are so different. My little one is now 2.5 months old and at 2-3 weeks he was unable to have a bowel movement, and he developed a scaley rash that extend from his head to his toes. His pediatrician recommended a soy and dairy free diet for me. With being diabetic and then adding soy and dairy free to it I was unable to eat healthy. We tried enfamil genital ease to see if it was indeed the soy or dairy causing the problem. The rash returned in just a few days. Then she recommended similac alimentum. This product caused him to start screaming 30 min after his first bottle. As a mom this broke my heart. I then went back to the story and bought the nutramigen. My only complaint is the price tag, but as a mom I am happy to report my little one has had no reaction to this product and is a happy baby. Thank you enfamil

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our son was showing signs of milk and lactose intolerance as well as reaction to soy formula. Nutramigen fixed all of our problems! Going on 3 months of use and he is happy and gaining weight properly!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Found out early on that my little one has a milk protein intolerance and fortunately Nutramigen works for him! I wish the bottles could be made with unpacked scoops like other hypoallergenic formulas than packed scoops but oh well. I also wish they came in bigger sized cans than just the 12 ounce

My baby was struggling with reflux. We ended up having to put him on Pepcid and AR Enfamil. The AR worked great for his reflux but then I started to notice him getting really gassy and bloated and couldn't poop as easy. We switched to this formula and he had been doing great!!! We put a little bit of oat cereal in his bottle with it and he's not as gassy and bloated

I started using this formula on recommendation from my son's doctor. He is 2 months old and has been so fussy and upset. He is my second child so I knew something was wrong. After taking him to the doctor we found out he has a milk intolerance. After switching to this enfamil specialized formula for intolerance he has been a whole new baby! I am so happy to have found this formula and recommend it to anyone!

My daughter did not sleep. All she did was cry..We started it in the morning and by that night she was finally sleeping. It has been our life saver. The not heating has not been a problem and I really think the only bad thing is the smell and the price but we can live with that.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We found out my son was lactose intolerant not to long ago and had a rash all over him, it just suddenly came up. He had other symptoms of him having it but we didn't know the symptoms at the time. This formula has helped him so much!!

Got samples from our pediatrician and has already helped so much in just 3 days as a supplement with breast feeding. Baby tolerates well and has been much less gassy and fussy following formula feeds compared to other formulas. Baby gets 2-3 formula feeds a day and doing great!
