[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My baby had severe reflux and milk allergy and would projectile vomit out of his mouth and nose every time he drank formula and had to sleep sitting up just to not choke on his vomit. We tried so so many different types of formula before the doctor finally prescribed this one and it made a world of difference. My baby was finally able to sleep and not vomit all of his milk and I was finally able to sleep. This formula was literally a life saver!

My son had terrible reflux with frequent massive amounts of spit up and gas from birth. In addition, I didn't produce enough breast milk after he was born and my milk supply dried up quickly. We had to find a formula fairly early on (within the first few weeks of birth), and after trying several different formulas which caused him severe constipation and gas pains (he would scream in pain), we tried Nutramigen. This was the only formula that didn't constipate him, make him scream in pain, and aggravate his reflux. It's expensive, but it's a blessing from God in my opinion. I'm not sure if my son has a true milk protein allergy or not because he's never been formally tested; once we found this formula the pediatrician basically didn't feel the need to do any invasive testing at that point since he was doing so great on the nutramigen. On this formula he is happy and healthy. He still has reflux, for which he takes prescription zantac, but that is a separate issue. He loves the taste of the nutramigen; he's basically had it since birth and he is used to it and doesn't want anything else. He has always done great in height/weight percentiles, met his milestones, and he's an absolute joy. I'm honestly not sure where we would be without this formula.

My baby developed GI condition after trying hospital formula. We switched to Nutramigen by pediatrician recommendation, at the beginning no change at all. After 2 week my baby got used to it and no spit up or vomit. The formula is smelly but good. My baby likes it, at the beginning he was slow gaining weight but when we switched to this everything improved. The only thing I don't like is the the ready to use ones, gave him diarrhea. Also I wish they could make the stick ready to pour in water like they have with the other formulas. That's really helpful specially when you go out and need to prepare a bottle right away.

My son started out with a very sensitive tummy. We tried every formula on the market. We lived thru the screaming, gas, bloating, rashes, & all the tests. 4 months later our DR gave us the Nutramigen sample. It was a life saver. His symptoms went away almost immediately. After 4 long months our baby was finally happy and comfortable. He was drinking the older version of Nutramigen without enflora- it has the red #1 for colic on the front label. This formula is awesome for any child with tummy problems! Several times we tried to switch him over to milk and soy based formula, none were tolerated. When he turned a year old we tried to switch him over to milk and the symptoms returned. We tried soy milk with the same outcome. We had him allergy tested and he has protein allergy. The Dr suggested we go back to the Nutramigen for another 6 months then we will try again to see if he outgrown his allergy. We saw the new version in the store & since it was cheaper we decided to give it a try. There is something in there that he could not tolerate. The gas and loose stools returned. We went back to the old version and he was fine. I started freaking out when I saw that the old version was discontinued at every store in town. It is too expensive to really stock up. So I called in to the help line and a very nice and informative rep made a report of the problem. She also advised me that the powder will be available thru the end of 2009. The most exciting thing I found out was that they are not changing the liquid form! It really is not as easy to travel with but at least there is something still available for my child. I really hope that they decide to bring back the powder form. (My child will hopefully not need it for very much longer) but for all the other parents out there living with these problems -this formula might have been the only answer. Dont change a really great product!

Being that I wanted to exclusively breastfeed, I was very hesitant to use formula. However, when my baby started experiencing symptoms of potentially being allergic to my breast milk, I had no choice but to switch her to formula. This formula has been a life savor. No more gassy, fussy baby. Just a Happy Girl!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our pediatrician gave us a sample of this to try after we found out our daughter has a milk protein allergy. It has worked wonders. We started with alimentum which caused so much gas in our daughter so we switched to nutramigen and her gas has subsided and she's happy again!

I started my baby on this about 4 weeks ago and it's helped tremendously with his colic, fussiness and tummy problems! The only issue now is we can't find it literally anywhere! When it's in stock, the stores only get about four cases of 6 cans each and by the time we get to the store, they're all gone because almost everyone needs this formula. The shortage is ridiculous! I had to switch my baby temporarily for about 2 days and he got bad diarrhea and throw up all because we couldn't find this one. Please up your production on this specific formula, our babies are really counting on it! You should also allow us to use WIC on your website since that's what most of us moms use to buy it.

My son just started using this on tuesday (3-22-11). He has severe eczema and we recently found out that it was because he was allergic to the milk protein. I had no idea that it was caused from that. Anyways in less than a week of being on this stuff his entire face is clear, hes sleeping better, and hes more satisfied, and he spits up less. i had tried sooo many different formulas for him. i am soo glad he is feeling better now.

My baby is 3mos old. Since day 1 he has had tummy issues and we've struggled to find a good formula fit. After being recommended Nutramigen by a friend, we tried it out and it has helped ease discomfort due to sensitivity and has also helped improve his reflux!
