As a nursing mother whose baby has a milk allergy, Nutramigen has been helpful with supplemental feeding. My milk isn't producing as much as baby needs due to working night shifts as a nurse. I gave it 4 stars because of the cost. I don't make enough to afford this formula right now and it's difficult without any coupon offers available.

As new parents, we were at a loss after we first introduced another formula and our son vomited and broke out in hives. We learned that he had a cow milk allergy, and he has been consuming nutramigen ever since. The only knock is the price, but it is a great product for babies who unfortunately suffer from a serious cow milk allergy.

My daughter stared off in enfamil gentle ease. We then switched to soy. She had many issues processing the lactose in regular formula, which was why we switched her to soy. She then had an allergy to soy so we instantly went to hypoallergenic formula. This had made the biggest difference. Enfamil gentle ease has been a life saver. My daughter is less colicky, gassy and fussy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While my son was in the hospital after being born, he had been switched from similac pro total to similac allimentum without any reason for doing so. When my sons was discharged we could not find any similac alimentum in stores so had to change formula brands, so we choose nuetramigen. My don seemed to tolerate the neutramigen a lot better then the alimentum but still wasn't fond of it and had a hard time eating his daily volumes due to lack of interest and desire to eat the formulas made for cows allergies despite him not having one. He ended up being hospitalized twice for weeks at a time for failure to thrive. However at my request, during the second hospital admission, my son was switched to enfamil ar due to him having reflux. Once he was switched to enfamil ar the feeding tube was able to be removed and he has eaten great since.

my baby was having extreme discomfort and just was not seeming happy. i called my mother up because i knew when i was a baby i had similar issues as my son is showing. i asked my mother which formula she used and this is what it was ! it works wonders my son is happier and in less discomfort and i feel much better as well

My infant son came home from the Hospital with the Enfamil Lipil formula. He was a very gassy and colicy baby. When he was 2 months the doctor diagnosed our baby with GERD and decided to have us give Enfamil Gentlease a try, along with baby zantac (rantidine). At month 3 the doctor had us add Probiotic drops. We used ALL of this until he was almost 6 months, until the spit-ups and constipation were out of control. He was not loosing any weight but he was clearly uncomfortable. So instead of trying every other option available we took the Nurse's advice and switched to Nutramigen. It was certainly a lifesaver! Our beautiful baby boy is happy and doesn't spit-up nearly as often and sometimes not at all! And I'm very greatful that he can sleep the night comfortably - typically 10 hours. It's great that the probiotic is in the formula because it's one less thing we have to deal with. If your baby is having trouble with his formula you should give it a try. It may be pricy but totally worth it. At his age now 8 months he uses about 1 can in 2 days and he takes solids twice a day. I would pay anything for the health and wellbeing of my child.

We struggled for a few months finding a formula that our infant's stomach could tolerate. He suffered from stomach issues to the extent that he was projectile spitting up with every single feeding. We tried this on him and after one week the spitting up completely stopped and we have been using it for over 2 months now with no issues! Definitely recommend for babies with stomach issues and acid reflux issues!
