After 6 weeks we changed formulas 3 times and nutramigen was the last and he has been a different baby since. Not uncomfortable or nearly as hard of a time to use the bathroom!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Both of my babies unfortunately have/had milk allergies. Upon my first son's diagnosis, after making the switch it was as if I had a brand new baby after only 8 hours. When I had my second the pediatrician said it would be unlikely we'd have 2 children with milk allergies. After only 2 weeks he started showing similar symptoms. Made the switch to nutrimagen and resolved every issue he was having, again within hours.

I had the hardest time to get my daughter to calm down. She is only 2 months old, but with my first child we tried the regular Enfamil for 2 months and then we switched to Enfamil Gentlease. She loved that formula and had no problems with spit up or colic. Now with my second child I did the same thing with the regular Enfamil then went to the gentlease but she was very colic, spit ups and would cry in the middle of her sleep cause of gas and it would hurt her stomach plus constipation. I went to her pediatrician and he had recommended that to give her pear juice for the constipation, if that did not work well for my baby try Enfamil ProSobee formula because she might be having an allergic reaction to the milk based formula. That helped a little but still really constipated. Then looking on the internet I tried this new formula,Nutramigen® with Enflora™ LGG by Enfamil, and within 24 hours she will sleep all night and has a little spit ups, but that just comes with babies anyways, no more colic or screaming in the middle of her sleeping. Her stool is also better, she has a little constipation but it is far better that what she used to be. I can't say there is anything wrong about this formula just because of the dramatic change in what she was going through. This formula has really helped my baby and i have always trusted in Enfamil's formula.

This formula is wonderful. My baby girl had no problems with feedings the first two weeks. After that she totally changed and had classic colic symptoms. Five to six hours of screaming evey night. Not able to finish a bottle even though she was very hungry. Waves of going rigid because of the pain from gas. Every night, always the same time. I was so upset, it killed me to see her in so much distress. I heard about probiotic drops so I tried them but she didn't improve as quickly as I'd hoped. Finally around 5pm I went to the local drug store and picked up this formula. She was just starting to scream as I got home. I was ready for five more hours of her pain and tears. I fixed her a bottle and she finished it with out crying. I still used gas drops once or twice that night but her crying went from five hours to less than one after the FIRST FEEDING! The next day, maybe 10 minutes of fussing. I am so greatful that this formula is out there.It smells funny but is a miracle! The reason you can't heat it up is because it would kill the probiotics in it. Most babies do fine with cold formula after they get used to it. It just takes a couple of feedings. Every baby is different so this formula might not be the miracle it is for mine but don't get discouraged. You will find the right one.

We were using Gentlease but my daughter was still having stomach issues - turns out, she's got a cows milk protein allergy! So Nutramigen is what works best for her! We go through a lot of this stuff, so we're very familiar with it. The smell is not that great, so definitely don't leave it leftover in bottles for longer than necessary. It's also more expensive than other formulas due to the nature of the ingredients.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I started out nursing my baby but he had the worst stomach aches. After this and that, we finally tried Nutramigen and his stomach has almost no more pain. Thank goodness! Highly recommend for lactose intolerant babies.
