If you have the slightest hard water expect it to clog often and the cleaning cycles never seem to actually work. The half hour cycles are a joke and you end up in a 4-hour cycle that doesn't. We had it under a year and had to clean in 10+ times, with each one being a hassle. The last one it stopped letting the water out after multiple clean cycles which should have resolved the problem and would stop less than a minute into a brew cycle. Ended up having to turn it over to dump water out and it never did come off the clean indicator. Their CS wouldn't open a claim when I called before warranty expired because I wasn't with the unit to trouble-shoot. With holidays I didn't get to call them and by then the year warranty was up so they've declined assistance besides more trouble-shooting and a purchase of another coffee maker at a discount. No way I'll ever pay this price when the gift I received didn't last a year!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love, love, love this Ninja Coffee bar. It's amazing and so easy to use. I loved all the options with this coffee maker, the fact you can make a single cup, travel mug, full or half pot and you can choose classic which is a smooth flavor, Rich which is a richer more intense flavor or over Ice which is the one I use the most. It's specially designed to brew hot to pour over ice so its not watered down. This machine is awesome! For myself I usually do not need a full pot so all these options are so convenient. It's super fast and the coffee tastes delicious. I am a strong flavor brew person but I do not want my coffee to taste bitter and The Ninja is perfect. The directions were so clear and easy I was able to plug in and go. You do need to run 2 cycles of plain water but it was really quick and I had a delicious cup of Caramel Ice coffee within minutes. BTW this machine needs the triangle filter and I was delighted it came with 3 so I could jump right in and brew. The Ninja is a bit large so you need a bigger space than a smaller maker. The only thing is this pot puts out a great deal of steam, be careful if you keep your coffee pot under an overhead cabinet, I believe it would damage the cabinet. I just pull out the coffee pot when I brew. Problem solved.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I judge new electronic products generally by easy they are to set up without reading any of the directions, before hand. Can I just take it out of the box, set it up and turn it on and just go? With the NINJA coffee brewer that's a big yes! Most coffee machines are just plug and turn on however when you get into modern brew stations there sometimes tend to be so many buttons and options it can become confusing but with the NINJA you literally can take it out of the box set it up, plug it in.. and turn it on.. put water into the reservoir. Put coffee into the filter, Select size select brew strength and start .. in seconds it begins to brew .. coffee comes out very quickly less than a min. Strong and bold for a full carafe.. the carafe is stylish and the brew station is sleek and modern simple and easy to use and quite compact. Looks great sitting out. No need to hide away, out of view. But I wish I had read the directions apparently they suggest running 2 full carafes of plain water to "season" the new station? Whatever that means. I know you need to "season" cast iron before using.. don't know why they suggest seasoning a coffee machine before using ? Unless there are some dusty dirty interan parts the need seasoning first .. that was odd .. but yeah .. it needs seasoning.. cause my first cup was a bit off tasting .. so I hope it's not too late to season it, now .. this model does not come with a reusable permanent stainless steel filter but does come with a few paper ones. Although it seems you can buy a stainless steel filter through the company. It uses the cone shape style filters. By the way. In case you were wondering? This model also comes with a double sided easy to read measuring coffee scoop. Showing how many and which size of scoops of coffee you will need for the size of coffee output you want .. this model also has a flip out shelf to fill coffee straight into a cup.. straight from the machine so no need to dirty the entire carafe or no need to brew an entire Pot if all you want is just one hot cup, or a travel mug.. travel mug not included but you can also fill your travel mug straight from the brew station as well. The size selection on this brew station are. Single cup, travel mug, half carafe or full carafe..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hi! Maybe it is just me but I was expecting something completely different than the Ninja Coffee Bar I received. Mine did not come with a permanent reusable filter so I purchased one for very little money. It has some cool features. The Coffee Bar is made so you can have one cup, travel mug, half carafe, or full carafe. The carafe is 43 ounces. I find a full carafe is only about 34 ounces not 38 that the manual states. That amount is really only about 2 to 2 1/2 cups of coffee.. if you like a larger mug of coffee. It does take about 3 or 4 minutes to preheat which is not long for a carafe of coffee. I do like the 72 hour keep warm feature. It has a 24 hour programmable function. This is great for waking up to hot coffee in the morning! I did not get a chance to make any specialty brews. That really has nothing to do with the Ninja Coffee Bar. It does not magically brew a macchiato or your other favorites. This just brews coffee in 4 different sizes. It does keep your coffee hot. But! I guess I am trying to say this does not do anything that a drip coffee maker can do. If you are a single serve brewer type person you may be underwhelmed with this. Don't get me wrong. This is a great looking machine. It is tall and does not fit under my cabinets. You can purchase a recipe book that has directions for making your specialty brews. Mine did not come with one which would have been really nice. All in all if you want a drip coffee type brewer this will work for you. If you are used to cups and pods you may not see enough difference to purchase this.

I am a previous owner of this machine but had numerous issues. So far since purchasing the new model nothing but great coffee flavor.

It's smaller than I was expecting. MAkes good coffee but if it's more than 2 of us I need to make 2 pots.

We had this thing for a few months but it wasn't all that. Funny shape, hard to use. Started leaking. Tossed it.

like the coffee brewer but a o ring seal wears out in the base where the water res atatches and there is no replacement part lots of complaints on web about leaking
