The pediatrician recommended this formula, and within a day we saw an instant change! He now eats without fussing, no more diarrhea, and our worries went away

I have a colicky baby. She has a lot of gas and fussiness. When I stopped breastfeeding, I tried the original Enfamil (yellow) but my baby didn't like it. Then I saw this Enfamil Gentlease (purple) that help all of her symptoms. It really did reduce the gas and no more spitting up in just 2 weeks. It tastes a little bitter (yes, I taste whatever I feed my baby) but my baby loves this formula so I think it doesn't matter to her.

My daughter loves this formula , we switch between the gentle ease and the regular neuro pro one , both are great and I really like that it has DHA. DHA is an important ingredient and definitely helps with the brain. I also give her additional DHA only because there's not a crazy amount in the formula. The formula mixes well, don't feel like it's grainy . The smell is nothing amazing but it doesnt smell bad, which is good ! Definitely recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Babies are difficult. Not by their own fault; they are just learning how to be alive and as a first time mom I'm just trying to survive too. Unfortunately, they cannot tell us what is wrong, they can only give us clues like grunting and bringing their knees to their chest as my little one did about 10 times per hour. As the detective I am, I concluded she was having some trouble with her sensitive digestive system. We were recommended Neuropro Gentlease to help our little one and within a week she was no longer grunting and bringing her knees towards her chest as much. She started having regular bowel movements along with passing gas effortlessly - leaving me with my next mystery to solve: was it her to make that loud fart or my husband? While the smell of the formula is not that pleasant (to be honest, no formula smells like the sweet baby breath we all love), it holds up to its reputation of reducing fussiness, crying, and gas. Overall, this formula was a real game changer and my little one is less full of shhhh because of it.

We have been feeding our newborn Enfamil Newborn for almost 4 weeks, but since she's been very fussy and colicky for the past 5 days, we decided to give Enfamil Genlease a try (we bought the package containing 6 - 8oz bottles). I was expecting this formula to be the solution to our problems, but it's far from that. As soon as we offered a bottle she made the ugliest expression. She hates the flavor! We spent over an hour trying to get her to at least drink 1 or 2 oz but she won't do it. She cried inconsolably! As a parent this experience is extremely frustrating. We lost our money! and will most likely have to switch to a different brand, and trash the rest of the formula if I can't find anyone to give it to. How can something that it's supposed to be good for infants it is actually so bad? I'm disappointed and dissatisfied.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This ready-to-use formula was convenient for travel as opposed to preparing bottles from powdered formula. I used it during a doctor's visit. However, you have to be prepared with a refrigeration source once the bottle is opened.

All of my children were brought up on enfamil gentlease for their first year and the formula has served us well. The new package is awful! Very messy (pouring the pouches into containers) and very wasteful. We waste a lot of the formula in the transfer and you can see so much left in the pouch!! Formula is not cheap and it is maddening to waste this much "powdered gold" as we call it in our house! Even if you buy the can and not the pouches there is a pouch involved! VERY FRUSTRATING!!!

My daughter transitioned to this formula at 2 months old and it has been amazing. Almost immediately it fixed her tummy troubles. She went from crying and screaming every feeding to happy and content and downing her bottles fast. I also love the containers snap close lids. The inside liners keep things extra sanitary, the scoop holder is a nice feature and the lids are solid so I can pack the whole thing in the bag and go without worry of spillage.

Great for baby who needs help or may need help with bowl movements or gas. This is expensive but great supplemental nutrition. To make more accessible to parents I would change the price. Definitely expensive and not cheap. Overall may be worth it if your child has lower troubles while young.

I got this because LO loves regular neuropro but she's quite gassy. While it works well, unfortunately we struggle to feed LO with this one because LO does not like the taste of this one. She would drink it but she's a bit grumpy while drinking it. Luckily she's gotten used to the regular formula and her gassy issues cleared up so all is well!
