Too heavy, don't like the motorized head, hard to clean.

Also, have to remove my hair from the roller! Thought this wasn't supposed to happen.  The orange and black roller has started making a grinding noise & won't work.  They don't care and won't cover it. It's not an accessory...the head nozzle is literally how you vacuum.  Was super creepy BC they asked my address & phone etc knowing what part was broken and I asked if it was covered in my initial email..only to reply it wasn't covered after making me gather the model, my personal information,  and number on plug.. Had I known shark didn't stand behind their vacuums MAINE vacuum parts...I'D HAVE BOUGHT A DIFFERENT BRAND.  MAKES ME SICK.

Only buy if you want MAYBE 3 years use

Suction fantastic, functionality fantastic. This vacuum snaps and  clicks apart and easily clicks back together. This vacuum has retired the broom and dust pan. Picks up potato chips, whole almonds, crumbs, cereal and on and on. This machine will suck the curtains off the wall, you've been warned. It is on the heavy side. That bring said it takes the weight to get the lines on low pile carpets. 

Overall I am very pleased with my purchase. Money well spent. 

For background I own Shark  rocket (3), powerhead (6), cordless duo clean (2), and 4 different styles of Dyson along with a few other brands. The Shark Apex is my go to machine. My only reservation with Shark products is they don't last in the long run that's the only area dyson is stronger than Shark.  Only time will tell on the Apex.
