took a month to arrive, small split in wood where wood frames were attached. NO written instructions, just pictures with arrows. Moving pieces for position change wouldn't work.

Futon looks great on the picture but looks nothing like picture. The fabric is very cheap looking and it smelled terrible. I had to spray it several times to get rid of the smell, but it is still smelling a little. I purchased a futon from Sam"s Club about 10 years ago and it was super nice and it:s still in good shape. I probably will never order anything else on line from Sam"s and won't recommend it to any one…...

not my best purchase..disappointed

I've had this futon for 2 weeks. Putting it together is not complicated, except for the fact that the tools supplied to attach all the pieces are not made of metal, thus becoming worn out towards the end, making it very difficult to tighten all srews. Luckily I had a similar tool. Without it, it would've been impossible to finish putting it all together.
The overall look and quality appear to be durable. It comes with one year manufacturer's warranty but I hope it lasts longer than that! It does have hinged armrests for storaging compartments in addition to the magazine racks on both sides. That's a really nice feature!
The mattress is firm and comfortable, the cover is really soft. But once it's put on top of the metal frame its weight makes it hard to fold it into the seating position. It has been my experience with other futons, that this issue caused the frame hinges to break due to the forcifull manner which one has to use to open and close the futon frame.
