We pride ourselves on our high-quality standards and regret that our product did not live up to your expectations. This unit cools by means of a thermo-electric cooling module that has the ability to cool 20F-28F below ambient temperature. There is no thermostat, and the unit is designed to run continuously.The fan runs continuously. To reduce ambient noise make certain the cooler is located on a firm level surface with adequate clearance for ventilation.
