Went from a Weber charcoal to this. First you have to empty the charcoal residue yourself. Not on the Weber, Second it doesn't have proper venting! Third the tabs for the grill supports are weak. We had to get a pair of pliers to straighten the tabs. The only positive think is that's it CHEAP! Not even worth the $99.00 we paid! Had to rate to get this online! NOT WORTH THE 1 STAR!

I had been eyeing a Weber kettle grill for a few months now but the price for the features that I wanted was just a tad more than I wanted to spend. I am so happy that Sam's Club came out with their own version of the kettle grill. Like others have said, assembly took close to an hour but once done, this grill looks awesome! My first attempt at grilling was on this past Easter Sunday with two racks of ribs. I decided to try the low and slow cooking method and I was amazed that after dialing in the bottom and top vents, I was able to hold a steady 230 degrees F temperature for six hours straight. Absolutely amazing! The temperature outside was in the 30's and there was a some wind but not too much.

Exactly what I was looking for! I have been stuck in the gas grill trend for 5 years because they are just so easy and fast. I was looking for a charcoal option on days when I can enjoy my grilling a little more. I didn?t want to spend too much but I didn?t want to get something I regretted. I was in the store looking at the expensive options and then came across this one. I was very impressed in the store with the air vents, the grill surface itself, and the ash catcher. I didn?t think too hard, threw it in my cart, and brought it home. With 4 children under 6 years old all hanging around me while assembling - it still only took me about an hour to put together. Charcoal in, fire lit, bang - we were cooking within 2 hours of getting home. I cooked up some HUGE chicken breasts that I bought at Sam?s as well - and in about 45 minutes I was pulling some of the best chicken off the grill I could take credit for. Family was impressed, kids gobbled it up, and I am excited to use this grill moving forward! Good quality, has what I was looking for, and I would certainly recommend it for the cost.
