I bought this for my 10 year old son for Christmas. He loves it! The big wheels are much better for bumpy surfaces. I like that I can ride on it comfortably also, so the higher weight limit is a plus. The only down side is that the button that lets you adjust the height of the handles does not hold well. There's been a few times in the last two days that if you lean on the handles, it will pop loose and the handle will go down. I can see this easily causing an accident or injury. I may exchange it in store since it's so new. I imagine it's a fluke on this one we purchased.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hex Kick Scooter is so light-weight that it's easy to just fold and go! Assembly was a breeze & so far it's been very convenient! I've purchased other scooters in the past that have been heavy & awkward.

My son rode his light up Jetson scooter literally until the wheels fell off! Which was after a few years of rough and tumble crazy riding. He LOVED that scooter! We bought the pink Hex Big Wheel Kick Scooter for our daughter for Christmas. It's perfect! She loves the wider deck, and the big wheels make it a smoother ride. Definitely her favorite gift from this past Christmas!

The packaging makes it seem like it's super simple to fold and unfold. But honestly, I read the (very short, not clear enough) instructions several times and just couldn't figure it out. I finally got it to unfold, so my son can use it. But now I can't figure out how to fold it for storage.
