Great sound quality gets 1 star. . .

Hi these needs a swift fix from BoW, a lot of customers buy them on Black Friday Sale right now. . . Why no update on px7 s2e modell!?, 1th of August the update came on the PX7 S2/PX8 models only :thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown: You dont take your premium price customers seriously in my opinion. Why doesn't someone test things PROPERLY before making bold promises of the features!? 1. On my Google Pixel 6a it turns itself off after say 15-30 min, when i leave them on the table face down (no deep sleep at all! Need to turn them on with the BUTTON, NFC fast connect does not function(,only when i first MANUALY turned them on right from the box. . . . ) Everything is activated in the app. 2. The wear sensors is terrible, hit and miss sometimes. 3. They only support 48 kHz default and your have to manually set them to 44,1 for CD quality, no High RES up to 96 as my cheaper ULT from Sony, WAY better sensors start/stop music, everything just works as they are supposed to work with the SONY. 4. Tidal/Qobus is a waste of money when it does not support HI-RES 96 or 192 (a multiple of 48)

Good sound, bad functionality

Sound and material quality is great but user experience when you switching between two devices (smartphone and laptop) is terribe. Multipoint barely working and headphones are loosing connection to device every couple minutes. I was not expecting such poor performance of headphones of such price. Defenetly not recomending if you planing to listen music from multiple devices

The Best Wireless headphone for the price!

I love Bowers and Wilkins headphones so much! I own a PX7S2 and gray and also three different colors of the PX8 and now I could not resist purchasing the ruby red version of the PX 7STE so I could see what the upgraded sound quality was on this version of the headphones. Especially as they were on sale! Even though the build quality with aluminum and real leather is more premium on the PX8 the PX7S2E build quality is still pretty awesome even though it uses plastic and synthetic leathers the headphone is very comfortable and the sound quality is quite good And almost as good as the PX8, which is quite a feat, considering the difference in price. The headphones are comfortable and the sound quality is amazing. I do wish the noise canceling was a little bit stronger but I also appreciate that the noise canceling does not impact the sound quality in any way. If you are on the fence and are not sure you want to spend a full price on the PX8 headphones I highly recommend the PX7S2E as a more reasonably priced alternative.

Get them!!

When I first put them on I was amazed how comfortable they were. I have a large head, the fit was perfect. Without further elaboration, they are simply the best headphones I have ever owned. I returned my Sony XM5's, cheaply made and uncomfortable. I very much liked my Sony XM4's and thought they would be hard to surpass, but the Bowers and Wilkins does just that. I put my Sony's in storage. Combined with TIDAL streaming service, incredible.

Doubts about quality

Hi, I'm considering purchasing the PX7 S2e, however I've seen several posts from users of the PX7 S2 and PX8 models complaining that the earpads and the top band come off easily. Have you fixed this problem on the PX7 S2e version or am I at risk of it happening on this model?

Disappointed

I don't know how to write this - I bought these to also use in the gym. When I got the headphones I spent 2 full days blissfully listening to music with nuances I had never heard before, I was very pleased. I wear hearing aids and those two days both hooked up to my phone. Today I took them to the gym and they refused to hook up with my hearing aids, same phone music source (Apple Music). Disappointing! They had plenty of charge and they will play without my hearing aids connected but not both together. Even my old Beats, that I wore out, never failed to hook up.

Being deaf in my right

Being deaf in my right ear creates limitations on headphones. The Px7 S2e headphones exceeded my expectations. I was actually believing I can listen in stereo. They are super and changed my world when listening to music and movies. Thank you, B&W! You have a lifelong customer.

worst music app

the sound is world class. but the music app is just bad. no setting options. There should be more setting options to adjust the sound. Take beoplay as an example.

Hello Murat, We understand your frustrations. We offer 2 band EQ adjustment for the Px7 S2e within our app. Something to note, most streaming apps have built in EQ controls that can be further adjusted to your tastes as well as most smartphones having the ability to download EQ apps to further allow for more in depth controls.

Good audio quality for bluetooth

Good audio quality for bluetooth headphones. To connect with APTX Adaptive, used Creative BT-W5 USB adapter. I have streamed Tidal with windows PC and listened to FLAC files streamed from Fiio F11 Pro.
