Cute playhouse for toddlers and children

Very cute for children! Fun details, built well and hours of endless play. My children love it! Only challenging part is putting it together as there are not holes for be screws to easy go into. I had to call step 2 and they recommended lightly tapping the screw with a hammer which worked.

We bought this for my son's second birthday. He LOVES it! I love that you can see inside, it helps me to keep an eye on him. The doorbell isn't too loud (I'm very glad that our dog doesn't bark when it rings). The assembly was very easy (power tools help!). I really like that it has a floor. We plan on using it inside during the cold months and outside while it is warm.

not the best.. but not many toys are built to last

we had this for indoor play for our 2 kids. the roof always fell off.. the grill part snapped off... and the middle piece on the front and back didnt stay in place.. we had it for about 2 years but just threw it away since it kept falling apart. it is big enough for several little ones to play in though.

Nice for the price!

This house is the perfect size for my tall 22 month old. She loves the doorbell, phone, mail box, but isn't into the sink as much as I thought she would be. It's just the right size for her to play, open and close windows, pretend to be at home, and so much more. We currently have it inside until the weather warms up. She has no trouble sitting on the seats or standing in there at her 36" height and 30 lb weight. She has put another chair in there to sit on as well and still has some room to play. Two could play in there but no more than that. Be sure to check dimensions. If you are looking for a very large cottage, this is not the one for you. This is a good value when comparing cost to square footage. This one has a floor so it will need to be swept out from time to time to keep it clean if using outdoors. We looked at several house in the same price range but loved this one the most. CONSTRUCTION: Yes, you have to put it together yourself. As you may have read in the other reviews, there are no pre-drilled holes for the screws, so be sure to a lot some extra time. Other than that, the assembly went smoothly. You also have to put the sticker son too. I am not sure how well those will last when we move the unit outside.

I have a 3.5 year old and a 15 month old and they both love it. It was pretty simple to put together and didn't take very long. My only warning is that it is pretty large and I needed a large SUV to bring the box home. Good value too - the comparable wooden playhouses were too expensive and my kids enjoy this just as much.

Cute

My two grandchildren, one boy one girl, both at age 2, LOVE their little house! My only complaint was the two side pillars didn't fit snug into the roof, so the screws that secure them are visable and leaves potential for little fingers to get caught or cut possibly. At this point they don't even notice them but I could see a small problem potentially in the future. But overall it is perfect for small children!

This is a great product! I was really excited to recieve this for my 3 year old daughter. She had a cardboard house previously that got torn down after a year. This house is excellent because it will last. Very durable. Cute. She has a great time ringing the doorbell, talking on the phone, and cooking at the sink. My daughter has cerebral palsy and it is difficult for her to get around, but she is able to manuever the seats and the door in the house perfectly. I believe she will have great fun in here for many years to come.

Good for the Money

I bought this for my 18 month-old daughter and 3 1/2 year-old son. They have loved playing in it so far although my son is almost too tall and may not be able to stand up inside it within the year. My husband put it together in about 30 minutes but commented that some of the screw holes didn't line up. It's on the small side which is fine with me since I plan to keep it on our patio. Overall, for the money, I am pleased with this cottage and hope the kids get many years of play out of it.

Keeps a toddler busy!

I bought Neat & Tidy Cottage for my niece for her 1st birthday last month and she absolutely loves it. We placed her Cottage inside the house in the game room so she could play with it anytime she feels like it. She was a bit uncomfortable with the flooring. So, her mom bought her a little piece of soft carpet to go inside. She keeps herself busy playing with it. She loves the door bell and the phone that go with it. I highly recommend this to anyone who likes to keep their toddler happy and busy. I think most kids will enjoy playing with it. Even an adult can fit inside to play and spend quality time with your little one.

little money lots of fun

I purchased this for our Grandson for his 2nd birthday. He loves to play in it with his cousin and anyone else small enough to fit inside of it. He seems to have more fun with the telephone and the doorbell than at this time using his imagination. The box fit into my station wagon quite easily and hauling it upstairs was not as bad as I had imagined. I would suggest though to put it together with a power screwdriver as there is no predrilled holes for the screws and to manually try to get the screws in is an exercise in futility. Luckily my Son-in-law came to my rescue with a cordless power drill (with the screwdriver attachment) and we had it together in about 15 minutes. The table does seem a bit weak and could use a support of some type, but once my Grandson seen this it was impossible to get him out of it to enjoy the rest of his party. I would recommend this to anyone with little ones as it is a great value for hours of fun.
