We like it

This TV has excellent quality picture and sound. Right at 6 months, the picture froze for a couple seconds then the whole thing went dark. It will not even turn on. I have read other reviews in recent days claiming same or similar issues. If Vizio was more dependable, it would be a good buy. Having to fool around with getting it fixed only 6 months after getting it, not so great. I probably won't by another Vizio product.

We went for the quality looks and features, set up was easy, picture and sound are great. Noticed a 3/4" black mark in the center of the screen inside of the glass. We put up with the black mark till after Christmas, returned and traded for another. The packing lables on this one were not fitted as well as the first one (maybe second hand?), but picture and sound were great for 24 hours. Then 4 hours before the Super Bowl the picture went out (vertical lines only). I returned and went with the comparable Sony for a little more dough.

I bought this TV for the size, for the LED screen and for the WiFi connection. I couldn't have found a better TV for the price. The 42" screen is a perfect size for a corner of my 11'x11' den. The picture is bright and clear. The WiFi set up was quick and easy. I use the WiFi to watch movies on Netflix and my wife sets it up for the grandkids to watch their Netflix programming. I've now had the set for about 6 months and I'm still pleased with this choice. I did not get the sound bar, and if I heard one I might wish I had, but I'm pleased with all aspects of this TV as it came out of the box.

I purchased this TV about five months ago, and I am happy with it. One reason I chose this TV was Consumer Reports magazine's favorable review, especially the wide viewing angle. I see little or no degradation of picture quality at a 40-degree off center viewing angle. Overall, I am glad I bought this TV. I do have a few minor "nit picks". The TV takes about 30 seconds to "boot up" and start functioning. The picture seems too dark at times (but in fairness, I haven't bothered to adjust the picture settings). The built-in app for streaming Netflix is unsuitable for watching TV series because there's no way (that I could find) to get a description of individual episodes -- you only get the overall series description. In spite of these small negatives, I like the TV and I enjoy watching it.

Just bought the TV last night... set up was extremely easy. Switched it to "movie" mode and set up the internet apps that I would normally use. Played on Facebook for a few minutes... wish it had facebook chat but it does not. Putting it all together... mainly just putting screws into the base took about 10 minutes. The TV automatically found the channels during setup and I was very surprised it found MANY more channels than my old TV did. Not sure why my old TV could not locate some of these channels before... and I did not know I was missing them! lol Overall, very pleased with the TV so far. Crisp clear picture, sound is very loud, and everything works as stated on the descriptions.

5 stars all the way around. Excellant Picture quality. Great Sound quality. Ultra thin for wall mounting Overall Great value for this smart tv. I found the Best Price at Sam's Club. Ordered on-line and received 2 days later ( the week before Christmas! )

This is my first flat screen/smart/hdtv ever. It took me a looooong time to decide on a tv. Every time I went to Walmart, I would survey the electronics section for a tv, but no matter which location I went to, I was always drawn to the picture quality of this Vizio. After mths of looking and debating I caught this tv on sale on cyber Monday and decided to go for it!!! This is day 2 of having it (had to pick it up from store) and I have to keep reminding myself to make sure that I am on an HDTV channel to get the reap the benefits of a hdtv and having a quality picture whichis awesome! (lol )I also LOVE the internet apps and capability, and the setup process was very, very easy! I have heard a lot of good things about Vizio so with this being my first Vizio purchase, I really hope that I'm not disappointed....

the remote is worthless, the keys don't work half the time, but the tv is great

This TV is great, everything was so easy to set up. Love the picture and has good sound (I only use 10-15 on the sound level)
