This is by far the most well made kids product I have purchased in the 16 years of being a grandmother. If you take your time, and set yourself up in a work friendly space the assembly directions are great and easy to follow. My 13, 3, and 1 year old grandchildren have already had so many wonderful hours of great imaginary fun with this. I decided to use my as a pretend horse barn and I purchased a fun ride on horse for each of them. I kept the tools with the barn and my grandson was happy to pay along with those.

I worked on this casually in the evenings over a week. I'd estimate I spent 14-16 hours putting it together. (Disclaimer: I'm OCD to a ridiculous level. I kept checking square, alignments, and expecting perfect joints...) That said, I was pleasantly surprised how well this went together.The pre-drilled pilot holes were dead-on 99% of the time; it got to the point towards the end, I wasn't checking and just lining up and driving the screws. The kit comes in three boxes. STRONG SUGGESTION: do NOT unload the boxes. The inventory list in each box will eliminate a LOT of frustration in terms of finding parts, if you leave the items in the box and check the respective lists, They are NOT packed in order of installation, but they are packed for efficiency in box space and shipping. I did have a few pieces of light-colored trim that had dark smudges from rubbing against the black roof panels, but nothing major... Tha part numbers are sometimes hard to find, typically stamped on the end of a panel or part. If you're clever, you can place them where they are down/hidden/obscured by adjoining parts. I had a little alignment issue with the roof panels over the porch. They didn't seem to place correctly. It became more apparent once I started to align the light-colored trim along the front and rear faces. (Frame of reference, we're talking between 1/8" and 3/16".) I used a Dremel to cut a little relief in the frame so the roof panel would fit tighter, and the trim pieces lined up nicely after that. The manual is written extremely well, and the graphics are clear. It clearly calls out places to focus, and items to pay attention to. This is truly the key to a successful build process, it's so well written. There are a significant number of bags of screws, nuts, washers, bolts, and fittings. I found it simplest just to lay them out on my work bench in numerical order so I could find the correct part. You'll go blind if you start cutting bags open and pouring parts out. I'm extremely pleased with the quality of this kit.

Great grandson just loved it he is always wanting to go to the big barn and this will keep him happy and alot safer.

Great price and great quality! My husband put it together in a few hours. I decided to paint it red and add a flower box with faux flowers.

Took a while to assemble but it's nice. The designer was smart and there are gaps so little fingers do not get pinched in the doors.

This is a very high quality product! Super easy to assemble. We have had so many compliments! Comes with workbench and power tools. Kids love going out to “work” in the barn!!! Cannot recommend this product enough!!!

Super cute, fairly easy to build but lots of parts. Three boxes to be exact! Because its wooden it will require maintenance however this also allows it to be customized, color, adding shelves, whatever you want. I (and my grandson) are very pleased with it.

I bought this for our grandchildren to play in when they come to visit our little farm because it looks so cute. Somewhat easy to assemble, some pieces did not fit perfectly (trim of roof), some holes did not line up etc. The wood is not heavy duty. We have had a couple of dust devils come through our yard and knocked it over both times. When it did, it broke pieces loose, like our roof will need to be screwed back on again, the porch railing will need to be adjusted. I really don't have time to go out and fix everything every time the wind knocks it over. It's beginning to look like Dorothy's house when it landed in the land of the munchkins...lol.

Do not waste your (considerable amount) of time or money on this flimsy piece of kindling. The wood is almost popsicle stick thin, will not last normal wear and play. It took forever to put together, then the first wind we had, it was ripped apart in the yard. Such a cute idea, but so very disappointed. Very expensive bonfire wood now.
