The mattress was firm when we got it. After a few years, I noticed that it was losing its firmness, thus creating an uncomfortable situation. If I got to the middle of the bed, I would feel like I was rolling downhill. I contacted the company directly and got written off without anyone looking at it. When I contacted them back the manager that I talked with was rude. Nothing was done. With the mattress failing to live up to the hype and the factory's 10-year warranty being useless, I would not recommend this product.

Hate, hate, HATE my Tempurpedic Mattress. Back, neck pain worse than sleeping on the cheap mattress we had. The whole mattress is covered in "pill balls." Bought the expensive sheets to go with it at the same store, so it is not due to "cheap" sheets. Did I say how much I hated my Tempurpedic mattress?

It was to the point where I couldn't sleep late anymore and did not enjoy going to bed. Buying this mattress has made all the difference in the world. I can now sleep through the night and no longer wake up sore. This is the most comfortable mattress I've ever slept on and I can now say I look forward to getting in bed each night and wake up with much more energy.

We chose this mattress as a warranty exchange for our old Tempur Pedic mattress we bought back in 2006. We tried many in the stores several time before we settled on this one, Tempur-Contour Elite. I must say the mattresses are not anywhere as near comfortable as the old Tempur_Pedic mattresses of old. I am very disappointed. I wish I would of kept my old one. I have had nothing but lower back pain, hip issues and terrible sleep since we got this one. We even splurged and bought an adjustable base, and no matter what position I sleep in, I am miserable. I wake up numerous times at night, have to walk around and readjust my position. I have determined it is way to soft and I am sinking in to much, I am a side sleeper and have switched to stomach sleeping, to side again. I am considering either buying a mattress topper to add firmness or just getting rid of this thing. I just don't like it and my back hates it!

Soft, cool mattress. I still have some joint pain in my shoulders, but not too bad. The company does not hold up on their warranty. After being "approved" for a warranty replacement, they did not hold up on their end of the bargain and offered no compensation despite agreeing that I had a defective mattress that warranted free replacement.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Tempur-Cloud Elite was the most expensive bed I have ever purchased, BUT it is also the BEST bed I have ever owned. I was not sleeping well, and from the first night on the new bed, my body just fades away into the comfort and quality of this mattress. I wake up every morning refreshed and ready for whatever the day brings. Be sure to buy the best mattress, which in my opinion is a Tempur-Pedic, besides you don't want another bad night of sleep since you literally spend 1/3 of your life sleeping!! Don't settle for anything less, you deserve it!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased our first Tempur-Pedic Rhapsody queen mattress in 2009. The best mattress ever! When we moved into our circa 1895 house, we inherited a vintage bed and a 2yr old king mattress (not Tempur-Pedic). After a year and a half, the mattress formed deep pits that caused joint and nerve pain (we are not heavy weights), and every move we made on the mattress (no matter how insignificant) was felt like a shock way. When it was time to replace, it had to be Tempur-Pedic! Soon as the delivery crew set up the Tempur-Pedic Contour-Elite, we immediately laid on the bed. The comfort was amazing! Our first night was sublime; it was quite noticeable how the mattress conformed and relieved stress points in our backs, and no more bothersome movement felt across the mattress. You would think we had learned our lesson in 2009 with our first Tempur-Pedic mattress; but a free mattress by a supposedly good brand, is always tempting... but not the right choice. Never will we make that mistake again! Tempur-Pedic will always be our "FIRST CHOICE" when choosing a mattress. NOTE: We are familiar with the old Tempur-Pedic mattress series, and although many people had concerns about the mattress making them hot, this was not a problem for us. We knew the quality of the now discontinued Rhapsody and Contour-Elite series, and preferred to stay with the series instead of changing to the newly developed mattress series.

I have had the hardest time the last few years sleeping. I have had this bed for a bit over a month with the vibrating base and it has changed my world! It is Amazing. I thought it was crazy to spend this kind of money on a bed, but it has been 110% worth it.

We had one of the original Tempurpedic mattresses which lasted us for 10 years. When we went to purchase another mattress we thought we would try one that stated it was as good if not better than the Tempurpedic. We purchased it and it only lasted one year. We therefore decided to go back to Tempurpedic. The difference is like night and day between the two. The Tempurpedic is so much more comfortable and solid. We will never make the mistake of going with another memory foam mattress that touts that it is as good if not better than Tempurpedic. Trust me, they are not. Love the mattress and we will never switch again. By the way, my husband and I suffer from hip and/or back pain and since we got our new Tempurpedic, the pain is gone!

Tempur Pedic is a quality mattress; you don't have to worry about sagging, dents, or holes. I've had my previous Tempur Pedic for over 15years. It's worth the investment.
