Before we bought a new mattress, I suffered from lower back pain; I'm a nurse so everything hurt after a 12 hr shift but mainly back pain. We originally bought a Stearns and Foster hybrid and I then added neck and hip pain to that list (I'm a side sleeper). After returning the Stearns and Foster, and getting the Tempur-pedic I can say that absolutely nothing hurts when I wake up. I fall asleep fast now, and I get 7-8 hrs whereas before I only slept 4-6 hrs. I purchased a memory foam pillow as well. I like a soft mattress and my husband likes a firm mattress, however, he has no complaints about the Tempur-pedic. Also, I didn't purchase the Breeze series, and I don't notice the mattress being overly hot or uncomfortable in temperature. I know the mattress is expensive but it's well worth it! Hope this helps.

We bought our mattress 1.5 years ago. You wouldn't know it, it's like brand new. Slept great the very first night. I suffer from chronic pain and sleeping use to make it worse, not anymore. I will never own any other brand. I would recommend a mattress protector, one that breathes.

The bed does not feel at all like the model in the showroom. I guess enough people have been on that one to break it in. I don't know how long it will take for ours to become more comfortable. The smell is horrendous. They should air them out before delivery. It gives me headaches and wakes me up its so strong. The smell doesn't seem to be lessening but I've only had it a couple weeks. Definitely I would have asked if there was something I could do about the smell before I bought it.

Our eight year old kingsize mattress was in need of replacement. It was suggested to look into Temper-pedic because of their reputation for being the Cadillac of mattresses. We compared it to another upper end mattress company and decided that Temper-pedic's features suited my husband and I better than the other mattress brand. We have not regretted our decision. Since night one it has been incredibly comfortable and we have woke up feeling rested. I had not realized how in need we were for a mattress replacement until we switched it for our Temper-pedic.

I purchased this mattress as my first Tempurpedic was up for replacement and I felt an adjustable mattress would be great for Post-Op. I really don't like this Tempurpedic. It just does not feel comfortable. I feel more achy and stuff when I wake :-(

I put off buying a new mattress for years because of the price. After waking up every morning with neck and back pain, I decided I had enough. Trust me, you get what you pay for with this mattress and my money was well spent. I was initially turned off because of the price but I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I have had no pain since the mattress was delivered and I am finally sleeping through the night.

The first two nights I thought I was going to need back surgery my back hurt so bad. I thought we made an awful mistake, but it's now been almost 4 months and the mattress is really amazing. It's so comfy. I used to spend a lot of time on the chaise when web surfing or watching tv. Now my go to spot is the bed.

This is among multiple tempurpedics I own, one in a vacation home one in a camper and one in a spare room. I have always loved the Tempur-Pedic( obvious from above post) , so when it was time to replace an older mattress, we were convinced it should be the split King. Well, when we purchased the mattresses,my husband needed a medium softness and I a soft. I verbalized my concern about the height difference since they are different models( soft does not come in all models). We were told there would be no difference, however there is a 1" difference. We haven't decided if that is problematic or not. The biggest issue I had was the mattress did not give withy body weight but instead caused pressure. I was greatly disturbed and not sure what to do until I read another reviewer that stated the same issue I'd had, he removed the cover. Well this allowed the mattress to perform as I was used to in all my other mattresses. I remember when we purchased our original model, it said not to use the cover for this reason, so i'm not sure why they began using them with these models. The cover is beautiful in appearance but ruin the function on the material of the bed. Once I removed the top cover, I slept like a rock for the first time in a week. I am only giving the 3 stars for the reason of the trouble i first experienced. With the cover off, it is definitely a 5 star product. Why did they change perfection? It only made it worse.

After doing a fair amount of research on which mattress would be best for eliminating lower back pain during the night and in the morning, we settled on the TEMPUR-Cloud Elite. We have had it about 3 weeks and the jury is still out on how it will work out. We are experiencing less back pain during the night, but are still stiff and have pain in the morning when we get up (We are in our 70's). Will hang in there and continue to assess.

One vibrator for the massage part is currently not working since delivery, but hopefully someone will come and fix that issue soon, because then I would definitely give this product 5 stars!
