I WOULD HOPE that during this time of curbside shopping because OF A Pandemic that extra care would be taken and training would be essential for those who pick items for customers. I very much appreciate that Sam's now offers curbside delivery. However, I've found that people filling the fresh produce orders are not taking the time to pick items that actually ARE fresh! in the last two days I had three orders, Aug. 7 and Aug. 8. Both baby organic spinach and sliced mushrooms had a use-by-date of the next day. I have to wonder, do these people use fresh vegetables and if so, would they choose these for their own use?? The white mushrooms were brown. I've called and customer service is apologetic and refunded my money. I appreciate that.
My question is how are the curbside people trained? why are they not looking at dates or even the condition of the fresh product itself? It's incredibly frustrating and time consuming for these mistakes. I WANT TO SHOP AT SAM'S. RESTORE MY FAITH.
