I was excited to receive this Windermere Sample as I am planning some DIY projects in my house and have been looking at different flooring options for my basement. One of the first things I noticed, was the quality of the flooring. It seems really sturdy like it wouldn’t mark very easily or damage which is always a good thing. It was also really thick and strong feeling compared to some boards I’ve felt. I can tell this is good laminate! I also love the shade so much, it’s definitely a color that I would like to use in my house. Definitely recommend for those looking for quality laminate flooring. The quality and the appeal are both a win for me!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I installed flooring through an entire house, and we had some batches that were not cut correctly and wouldn't connect or lay properly. This Fitzgerald flooring has the same error where the connecting grooves do not line up. The material is very strange, like pressed wood board and is quite fragile to work with. Most of the boards in the box were chipped. The quality is unfortunately not there. The look of the flooring is stunning though! It has a very realistic wood feel and finish! The padding underneath is thick and seems to be good quality. I greatly appreciate receiving an entire box to review! Maybe we just had a faulty box or aren't installing something correctly, but it was extremely difficult to put together. I would still be willing to try and buy more for a more finished product to see if it goes together better when there is more attached. I hate giving bad reviews when it is tough to determine the quality, but we are undecided on this one. Not our favorite flooring, but might have potential.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, I love this color, it's a beautiful Grey toned wood that I think looks great. I can't really say anything about longevity though, as I only got a sample board to review. It feels durable and well made.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Windermere select surfaces sample size is a very helpful way to decide which Windermere floor to use. I enjoyed picking out the samples and was able to narrow down which flooring I needed. The samples were large enough to compare.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked the color of flooring the most. It has a realistic wood look and the grayish color was very pretty. The padding on the underside of the flooring is really a nice bonus and one less step need during installation. As a diy person that helps so much. My only reservation about the flooring is the ability to handle an active family using it in a high traffic area. I don’t know if I would get as much time out of it that I wanted. If it was for a light traffic room than this is perfect as it looks beautiful.
