This One Really Works!

I must have 10 or so of these handy mops (Swiffer, etc.), but this one really works. The thing I like about it is how I can be in the middle of washing my tile floor and if there is some left-over debris, just hit the vacuum and it's gone! Since I have ceramic floors, I still have the grout lines to do, but this little vac-mop is great! Also, if there is some debris--or in my case, cat hair--on a dry floor, just use the vac, and, pouf, it's gone.

Great features

I bought the mopvac right after I had my hardwood floors and tile installed. I was amazed at the suction the vac has. I have two large dogs in my house and as I use the vac I see the dog hair being pulled right into the container. Then the mop is convenient for the dust. I couldn't say enough good things about it.

It works great. Minor issues

My home is completely 100% tiled. The little machine works great, the chemicals leave a nice finish on the floor. The disposable pad can be rinsed off, dried and used a couple times before it is too gross, and has to be tossed. My only gripe with the machine is the strong spring pressure on the chemical release. After an hour on an endless floor you begin to get cramps in your fingers from holding the spay device button. There should be a button with no pressure, (more expensive in parts selection to do that), or a lock button to lock the sprayer on so you can quickly spread a lot of cleaner out on a large area. ater using it, the battery lasts 90 minutes, but my floor is so big it takes two hours to do everything, so Im thinking it was designed for kitchen floors primarily, and then bathrooms, as most people don't have all tile flooring, although there is a trend in that direction with new construction. Yes, I would buy it again. I did not expect a machine in that price point to do a very large floor with no problems. I wish they made a self propelled model that was easy to use for hours. It would be worth whatever it costs.

Conveint

I moved into house that had ceramic white tile. Every little drop shows up. I wanted a cleaner that would work to pick up debris , but also clean dirty spots. It does all of this, but to small degree. Not enough cleaner solution in reservoir and pads get dirty quickly. The cleaner solution is ok, but could be stonger. I am not sure how long the pads can be used ( I think I am throwing them away before there life expectancy; no guide on how dirty is dirty; a judgement call. I am using swifter wet one experience.) It is ok for small jobs.

Tossing out money

I feel I can't do my living room on just 1 pad, then there is the rest of the house and 4-5 pads later. They pick up pet hair fairly well between the vacuum pocket and the pad holding on to it. But I use a lot of mop spray picking up sticky messes from pets & children. I wish they also had reusable pads because I would use both a lot. I mop a couple times a week and I have no carpet.

Waste of money!!

I've loved shark for years!! This is such a disappointment! You've gotta hold down the button the whole time, the pad holds very little dirt, and when you're ready to do the mop part, the pad is covered in any of your pet hair you're trying to vacuum up!

Go back to the white pads

Love the Shark and the old mop pads. These new ones ( blue)are not as strong and sturdy they bend as your cleaning where as the others didn't (white)
