I ordered three - all boxes showed damage, with packing tape to 'fix' the damage. There was damaged shelf product in each -was able to salvage enough parts to assemble 2 units, returned 1 to the store. Ordered a replacement - it arrived in worse condition than any of the first 3. Currently working with the manufacturer instead of the Walmart store.

This thing is awesome. I bought it for my kitchen because I didn't have enough shelf space and it's revolutionized how I work in the kitchen. It's so great and has eliminated a lot of stress. It was surprisingly easy to build, you just place the metal round hooks where you want them and lightly tap them in. It's very sturdy too. Can't recommend it highly enough.

The quality is not there. The frame was very flimsy and you could twist the pieces, it was not good. Then there is not a stable flat rim for the plywood to sit on, so it bows in the middle. Because I'd the bowing, no more than maybe 20 lbs could be placed on the shelf. It was an immediate no and re-boxed to be returned. The return process was smooth and quick!

My husband put this shelf together in a short period of time. He said it was easy. We needed to organize our basement storage area. This shelf was just what we needed. It seems super strong and very sturdy. We may have to get another one; we have accumulated a lot of stuff in our 25 years of marriage

These are the strongest shelves I have ever purchased. You do not need any tools to put them together, just slide them into place. My daughter and I put two sets of these shelves together in less than 10 minutes. I got two shelves for the price of one heavy duty plastic shelves, but these are metal. The customer service people at Edsal are great. Two of the shelves had a corner broken off during shipping (it happens to particle board sometimes). I emailed the company provided with the shelves, and in two days, they sent me 3 shelves and an extra bar. Once the shelves are in the shelving unit, it is solid as a rock. Very good buy!

Shelf seems sturdy, but it's very heavy. Instructions call for couplers that are to be used to hold the top and bottom level together, however they weren't anywhere in the box and you can't order them online. Their website suggests the couplers can be bought on amazon, but they don't have them in stock and no clue when they will come back in.

Hard to attach the top and bottom sections to make the unit full height. Shelving material is ver flimsy and breaks easily. Once I used nuts and bolts to beef up the metal portion of shelving and replaced the wood selves with 7/16" OSB the shelves are fine. Don't feel like you should have to put so much effort into a product that is advertised as "heavy duty"

The brackets and top caps are missing. The 4 pieces that anchor the top to the bottom. I have had these for some time, IIIII Knoooow! I am just now opening the boxes to assemble while I have some help... My grandson and I were baffled until we watched a YOUTUBE lesson where the guy doing the assembly noted that he had to call/email/comment to get these part that were missing. Please be sure to check your parts before even attempting to put this together.

We are very pleased with the quality of this shelving. We were disappointed, but not surprised, when we unpacked the particle board shelving and a corner on three of the shelves were broken. We called the company and they immediately sent us replacement boards. It does take two people to effectively assemble the rack holding the shelving

The shelves are great when assembled. The last 6 shelves have arrived with no brackets to assemble the uprights. I have been dealing with this for the past 2 months. I have three 1/2 built shelves. Waiting for the next 3 so I can return the last 3. Hopefully the upright couplings are included this time.
